I do like the idea, ive been thinking of making a textbased game myself for a while. I do think some more clarity would be nice explaining what the colors and such mean. I was also just roaming around a bit but the world got me curious! To answer if its good or trash really depends on where you take it. Text based games are only good if you can make the player imagine the world they are in, it did feel a bit dystopian (wich was what you were going for reading trough your comments) so thats good. I'd say keep it up!

For bugs, I got stuck when I fel asleep on the floor and the go back didnt function anymore. Maybe show the last choice aswell since I prayed 6 times and nothing happend so I was curious if it was bugged or not finished but then I also had to go back trough 6 times of prayers (god loves me now).

Im curious to what this will become.

I wasn't sure what to do, I went to the desk, saw that it said in 10 days to sign up for uni, so I slept 10 days and then tried to find the uni. I also found that if you go to the desk, go back, and then go back to the desk some red underlined text appears about taking the to-do list with you?

So I could not find the university, I did find a place to pray, and some tracks to jump on though.

yeah, it's far from finished yet and uni isn't even implemented as this is what i'm mostly working on

I'm not sure if the ending is when you "die" after reaching the action limit. If so, it's good; if not, how can I get it?

As I said in the comment on the page, I see potential in the story, although it's somewhat confusing right now. Perhaps you could progress day by day or end by end. The point is not to work on the entire project as a single project, but rather break it down into chunks that you can complete without overexerting yourself.

I hope to continue seeing how the project progresses, even if it's slow.

Enjoy your first look! 📖🤖

I love the sleep on floor option for when I died :)

Seems like you can go pretty wide with this, at this point its hard to tell with you idea. It really is going to depend on your vision and the story telling, I like the colour text for your options that is effective.

Some of the text structure need to be more carefully placed as your game lives and dies on text and artistically you just have the layout visually to add to it or take away. I.e. breaking words over lines

The main thing I note that really needs fixing is the day "0" bit, this is due to the fact it starts on that line and comes across a bit clumsy. As you are cycling through the week just use the 0-6 as variables and use if day = 0 then dayName = "Monday". I don't know which engine you are using but I am sure we can help you find a solution.

it's raw twine. no bigger mods except of some mid inline scripts. (enough raw bitsy for itch to see itself it is bitsy and added it to footer of game page in tag section). like i can quite control colors but it's not yet in such stage i'm messing with it (gameplay more important than fonts imho)

will fix that thing with days too but possibly later.

and for that screenshot - i just didn't finished and death will be just a subgame in style of fnaf a little

yep, i'm still unsure where this will go but we'll just see, i added it to jam cause draft of it been laying on my ssd for months and main progress was just releasing even a demo of it, lol
