What feedback are you looking for
I want to know if the music improves the game's atmosphere (previously people told me they found the game spooky with no music)
I would like to know if the options menu works as expected, and if there are any issues with the tutorials

The game is pretty good, and you can feel the dreamlike feel. It's quite peaceful, and the bird models and their walk are somewhat cute.
As Rico says, the sound just needs some fine-tuning. Regarding the bug, it seems to be a logic problem in the code. The first text doesn't disappear, and the second text bugs. If I press E again, the second text disappears. So I think it's just a matter of reviewing the code flow.
The other bug, where the birds get stuck, is only in the pigeon room. Specifically, on the platform in front of the puzzle, any of the birds get stuck with the invisible wall and can't move, so maybe it's just a matter of checking the collisions in that room (I think).
The settings menu works perfectly; the only problem is that it only offers borderless window and full screen modes. If I set it to window mode, it returns the borderless window.
I hope to see a little more of the game (if there is one)
Great experience! 🥚
Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks for the feedback on the feel of the game! Dreamlike and peaceful is what I'm going for :)
I will see if I can normalise the music. Kinda sad that the birds are still getting stuck, I'd really hoped that I had fixed that, but it sounds like it is at least improved over the last version since they used to get stuck infront of the pigeon puzzle, by the pillar, and in the entryway of the duck room.
Thanks also for describing that bug, I will have a look into it and try to fix for the next sprint.
It was fun the music is good but maybe a little loud at the start it seems to quieten later in the track and I could here my footsteps, I think it just needs a balance. I would have loved to here some sporadic bird noises hen you lay eyes on the birds as you gather them I can almost hear it in my head and it saddens me when they don't come. In the duck area the text on the puzzle went a little funny - I knew what to do from before so NP but a bug you may need to know about. The Pigeon art with the red was maybe a little strong felt like evil magic symbols and didnt seem to match the general vibe (unless this was your intent). The ending it may be nicer to use a fixed camera when you reach the the egg with a slow small pan upwards and the birds taking flight.
Just some thoughts did enjoy it and I think you have made a nice experience.
Thanks for the feedback!
When you say that the text went funny do you mean that the two tutorial prompts overlapped? or was there another bug?
With the pigeon having kinda evil aura about the puzzle itself, I am leaning more on that in the future as I rework the level into a new form. The idea is to make a perhaps humorous contrast between the evil looking puzzle and the cute pigeon, which is kinda how I feel about what people say about pigeons: "oh they're gross and they're basically like rats with wings" but actually they're cute and innocent.
I will also work on the bird sounds for the next sprint, and get them to make sounds when discovered, periodically, and such. Also a good point about the ending needing to take away control and present something special. I will definitely bear that in mind for the future as I move into making new stuff on the content side of the development.
I am looking forward to having a play and seeing the changes 😀
