Well done! I really liked the hook mechanic and thought it went well with the double jumping.

A nice movement mechanic! Even though it wasn't obvious right from the start that you can control the line with the mouse. The cat names are quite adorable, and I can't but appreciate the pun in the title :)
Just a heads up, since the controls are only included in the details.
You can open the level editor by pressing enter and save any changes to the level using v. Pressing enter again will bring you back to the game state. For greater detail, check the game’s detail page. For an example level and details on how to share your levels, check out user-level.fnl.
Pressing p will pause the game, m will mute the music, q will take a screenshot and r will reset the level (useful when testing your level designs).
If you have to quit the game, or get stuck on a level you can use the “load level” option to open any of the levels (including your own custom level).
Also, check out the options menu. You can toggle on and off mouse lock, which will bind the mouse to the screen, and toggle on and off mouse visibility. It might be easier to use the editor with the mouse visibility enabled.
I really like the contrast of the schematic visuals and the swingy physics, they complement each other in a cool way with fun controls. Great job on polishing the game too with options, menus, etc., and love that you included the editor! Nice work.
edit: can you make a fullscreen option? That would be great.
Nice and fun little game, small problem I had though, is that I didn't find how to full screen the game, and I've click a lot out of the window which kind of kill the enjoy-ability.
Some cats go to heaven :) The game ran great on my old laptop. I think a mouse is required to play. I like that I can hit enter and edit the level while playing. Cool!
Most laptops have a thing where the stop the track-pad from working when you are typing. In Ubuntu you can disable this in the settings. Not sure how to disable this track-pad lock in windows though :(
Glad you didn’t get any hitching! It is especially bad in some of the more complex levels. Still have no idea why my small adjustment to the cat collision detection caused such a mess :(
I wrote a really long comment, then I clicked post but it didn't post, I refreshed and now it's gone, so I'll just summarize what I wrote.
I can't vote on games because I failed to submit a game in time. The game was quite fun, especially the grapple mechanic. I accidentally clicked out of the game window a lot, this was the biggest flaw of the game for me.
As a game, it's pretty good. As a Lisp game, I'd say it fails due to being written in a fake Lisp (Fennel, just S-Expression-like syntax around Lua) with some parts just being plain Lua.
Just realized my most recent update has made the game hitch like crazy!!!
I’ve removed the optimization but can no longer update the game :/ If you find the game unplayable in the state that it is on itch please check out this tagged release on GitLab
It’s identical to the version here, minus the “optimization”.
