Been having a WONDERFUL time with this one--Definitely has to be one of my favorites of the entire jam! I haven't made it to all the different endings, but I've been having a ton of fun streaming, enjoying the stellar voice acting, figuring out the story, and I'm still so curious about what the emperor has planned...Let's just say I'm eager to explore the rest and would definitely be interested in more from you all!

I finally have the time to play this. I'm always biased when it comes to visual novels that revolves around mystery and whoddunnit's. I was looking forward to playing this when I saw the recruitment lol. I was also really impressed with the characters being based on Zodiacs. Myths are cool are even visual novel are also inspired by it. More cases plss!!! lol, but I feel in love with the characters  I totally don't like cat the most. 

Incredible job! It's impressive to make a single whodunit within a month, let alone five... the mysteries all felt good, and the characters really likeable. I also loved their designs - all were incredibly cute, and the outfit/fashion design was great (especially Horse and Cat!). All the UI also felt really immersive, and the voice-acted sections felt great too - really satisfying feel all around, which is impressive given how much of the same locations we see. The music tied everything together too, and I loved unraveling everyone's pasts together. And the Freed ending felt like a very sweet interpretation of the myth! Huge congrats to the whole team!!!

The only bug I encountered was getting sent back to the Metal Case a second time... I'm not entirely sure what triggered it, since the saves wiping meant I couldn't test it too much, but the skip function registered it all as read text so it was quick to get through again!

Biased opinion: This is a great game, 10/10!

Actual review (with some bias): I'm so proud of how you've managed to create a game like this Xiruo, been following you since your fan games and this is definitely an amazing demonstration. A few bugs here and there, but nothing groundbreaking, and I did not expect the post-discussion to turn out how it did. I actually got spooked (which is the idea because spooktober but wow that was great)

In total, 9.5/10, would recommend to friends, meme the heck out of it, find more ways to find bugs, and would definitely compose again :D

Amazing Game! The story, the art, the characters, the game play, the gui, the mysteries, the well... everything, was just awesome. Been following this one since concept and was so hyped to play it! And it delivered on every front! Fantastic job everyone. Loved it.

This is maybe the most polished game I've played so far! 

The UI was so crisp, the voice acting and music were super well balanced, and all of the art was fantastic. The investigation part and case part was super nostalgic for me, and I think you nailed the screen direction for the discussion scene. Great job!

(btw loved the slight Tiger x Dragon)

scrolling through long descriptions of some evidence (notebook) is nigh impossible with my broken mouse wheel. hope where wasn't anything important?

That was a fun detective sleuthing game with a really sweet story. The UI is so fun and charming!
