Now thats a great idea! That's something we'll have to look into. Would be really cool to run a jam around the release of the book maybe🤔

Thank you so much! We are really proud of the dice degradation idea and as GMs, we fell in love with the idea of intertwining the dice rolls with the game narrative, explaining each success and failure in a way that keeps the story driving forward but also increases the danger levels with each roll.

Your praise means a lot, we really appreciate your kind words as we tried really hard to create an atmosphere with 4 yet also keep the game simple and 'pick-up-able'. I hope you have fun with it :)

Thanks again.

Thank you so much!  You'll have to let us know how it goes with your group if you do get 4 to the table!

There is something to be said about simple rulesets. If you want to gather a few friends round for a quick one shot you don't want to spend half the session explaining how it works. With a survival or horror game, we wanted this to be as quick to jump in as possible.

Really appreciate your thoughts and kind words, thanks again :)

Oh my! Thank you so much! We're a two person team who have always dreamed of releasing a full TTRPG but never managed to get one done. When this jam came about, it all just fell into place with the idea of "What if we just set a standard difficulty and use ALL THE DICE?"

4 became the standard difficulty and name of the game as we were partly inspired by how the number is seen as unlucky in some cultures.

We had so many ideas for this that we are planning to write a full RPG book for it, but this is what we could put together in the time frame. Can't wait to share more as we make it!

Thanks again for all your kind words and encouragement, hope you enjoy the game!

Thank you so much! I'm really glad that you liked it and if you ever do gm with it, I'd love to hear how it goes.

Also really appreciate your critique, player elimination can be difficult in a game. Will definitely think on this as we hone the system.

Cheers for checking it out!

Thanks very much! We're currently working on creating a full TTRPG book based on it.

If you ever use our system, drop us a link!

Thank you so much. The spimplicity of the rules, tells the players what to expect and frees up the GM to keep the narrative moving without having to calculate difficulty checks or situation specifics. Hope people have fun with it :)

Lovely concept with the opportunity for a variety of unique stories to be told. The presentation is very thematic and the cozy nature of it really shines through. Good job!

This was a great game idea generator. I loved how creative and varied the different options were and am always a fan of rolling on tables. Love the challenge of being pushed to create something outside of my comfort zones. Great job, thanks!

I loved how this game was so deeply intertwined with the characters playing. The mood was poignant, yet hopeful. I  could see how player dynamics would really bring this setting to life. Great job!

You did a great job! Also just wondering will you be doing another twitch stream about all the entries again this year?

Thank you very much!

Really enjoyed the idea of chasing information down a rabbit hole. The scoring mechanism is absolutely delightful for the solo mode and getting your next prompt from the person who gives you that seventh point is genius. Well done!

Always a sucker for a maze! Really cool idea for a multiplayer journaling game and I love how you scaled it for each player count. Great Job!

Absolutely love the concept of this! Meddling ethereal beings answering the pleas of mortals for better or worse. I could really see myself running this as a narrative cage match style game with each player enbodying the essence of their keyword and arguing with each other over how best to stir up a solution... of sorts. I really liked the presentation and the use of museum assets really hit home the theme. Great job!

Cool idea of a journaling game that has a cycle of interconnecting characters. The story is fun, theme is great. A table to roll on for the missing  nouns, verbs and adjectives might be a fun addition though.

An interesting concept but unfortunately I haven't played what its based on so I dont have context for each character but well done on getting your game out!

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed the mechanic of rising tension as that was kind of our centre piece of the game so I'm so happy its well received lol. The having eliminated players throw in some obstacles is an interesting idea but we were hoping to foster more of a team work dynamic with the "guardian angel" ability where the players are working together against the GM, but there's no reason your idea couldn't be used for a very different feel or dynamic. Thanks for the suggestion and for checking out our game.

Thank you so much, you have no idea how much this made my day :D Can I use this as a quote??? lol Loved your game too!

Creative journaling game set in a serene post apocalyptic world with interesting and well written prompts. Great Job and thanks for running the Game Jam!

A fun chaotic narrative cage match style game. Loved the way this was presented and all of the talking/pain points are great. Great work!

This is really cozy. The writing draws you in to the conversation of the Gods and I admire your dedication to the "-end" theme for each card! Loved the way you made them all feel unique from each other giving a wealth of prompts to draw from.  Even though I did have to look up a couple of the words lol.

Lovely work well done!

SHIT SUCKS... but this was wonderful.

This was incredibly well written and definitely captured what a lot of us are feeling at the minute. Times are tough and the pressure to just keep going regardless is bearing down on everyone. This game is a great motivational piece to help us regroup and get back up.

Funny, informative and thoughtful. Amazing job

Well done!

Great game! The writing was wonderful and kept me wanting, to know more. The choice of finding the ringing phone or escaping the building was such a difficult one and really ramped up the tension..

Chloe's fear really came across well, with some fantastic voice acting.

Another amazing creation, well done!

Great game! Loved exploring each "customer's" story and finding out a little more about the diner and the mysterious stranger each time. I adored how the game just keeps growing and the friendly chat, after I thought i had seen everything, was a wonderful surprise! Even now, I'm  not sure if I've seen everything😅

Awesome job, well done!

Congratulations on the win!!! Unfortunately I didn't get this finished before the jam ended, sorry about that. This was wonderful. I loved the stories throughout, the writing and dialogue were so charming and real. Every character shone with their own wonderful personalities and portrayals. The art was fantastic and I loved the setting of the taxi for all of the meetings and partings. The driver was such a charming character and the ending perfect for this tale of many tales. Loved it.

Thank you so much for playing. I hope you had fun 😁❤️

Really cool idea! The cinematography and animation were awesome! You really nailed the aesthetic! I popped for the Ouya lol Great job!

Thank you so much for playing! We did watch your stream the next day, it was a lot of fun :D

Great work everyone! The art was wonderful, the music fantastic and the gameplay was really engaging. Good job all round😁

I think Lydia's Labyrinth would probably fit best under the mystery category if you dont mind 😁 This is such a good idea❤️

Thank you so much❤️ I'm glad you had fun. Also I'm glad you liked the intro it took us ages to get it right😅

Really nice story with a rich lore and world. Loved the premise of bringing fantasy and magic into Victorian London. I also really enjoyed the visuals, it was unique and what caught my eye originally! All in all great job and best of luck with the book😁

Hauntingly beautiful ❤️ The art, the writing and the atmosphere were all top notch. Amazing job!

Cool idea and old school text adventure. Really creepy vibes throughout and I really liked the ending. Good job!

This was excellent, loved the all endings achieved playthrough! 100% Such a cleverly told story. Great job!
