This was really engrossing to read! I found myself thoroughly engaged by the tense political climate, and thought its emotional moments packed quite a punch!
Really excellent work!
Really incredible presentation on this one, holy shit. The jarring noise that played during each shift into the various times really conveyed that sense of being jolted into and having to adjust to an entirely different set of rules. This sort of strategic aerial battle, with every pilot utilizing this set of paracausal tricks to outsmart the other in combat makes for an incredibly sick read! The art direction was striking, and I found the jazzy soundtrack to really add to the feeling of nostalgic mecha anime of the past
Such an evocative story grounded in a deep, snow-buried realism yet still whimsical in nature. There's such a strong narrative painted amidst the stories told with the dolls, and I love the somewhat muted yet very raw and real feelings between the two girls.
You're really never too old to play with dolls (said with tears in my eyes)
Genuinely the coolest shit I've ever seen, I love all the little references to real life doll brands and even real life events(Jeff Wheelies Summer Doll Fest killed me)
There's so much love put into every little bit of this world and it really shows. I'm admittedly not well versed in ttrpgs but the mechanic of building your own doll body and each part having it's own abilities and stats, as well as the hobbyist meetup sections of the gameplay are so cool to me. Truly a great ttrpg for playing touys with people
Also I said this before but you're absolutely insane for making an entire ttrpg system in 1 1/2 months for a jam
OHHHH MY GOD IT'S SO GOOD
The parallel between the tiny doll hand + finger in the 3rd page to the final panel of the comic, the way you lovingly rendered all the ruffles and THE PAGE WITH THE BLOOD VIAL???
I'm eating all of these colors the palette is so dreamlike and whimsical and the little insert pages at the end are just *chefs kiss*(also the references to heavensent in the perfume bottles yippee)
also fortnite parody jumpscare (stream drop, drop by Peely XCX)
Such a well crafted VN on all fronts! I don't have much experience with wuxia stories, but I really appreciated how immersed in the historical setting this was, even with the knights at times insanely funny(and horny) thoughts.
I played through every single route, and even though the swordmistress is 100% my type(salt and pepper haired older woman with muscles my beloved) I found myself really enjoying the empress route as well! (and the ??? route was just the cherry on top, truly a wish fulfillment for this gay disaster of a knight)
I also thought the art assets were incredibly polished, and the sprites managed to show so much character between these two ladies.
Overall such a good game, the team should feel proud at what they accomplished!
Really gorgeous game, especially the way you wrote the prose. Each word hit with an almost light, air-iness that made the whole game feel like a dream. I thought the pixel art was really gorgeous as well, and when the ball really started rolling I was enamored by the gruesome details of it all.
Really, really stunning work.
Really stunning work. You can tell just how much of this is a love letter to tokusatsu and magical girl animes, but despite not being super knowledgeable on either of those I still had a very fun time.
The art and UI definitely is so memorable, and the Crepin designs were such eye candy to look at. Also having little anime bumpers in a VN is such a funny thing to do, props for that.
Wow, really stunning on all accounts! I thought that the way the narrative was presented was really eloquently done, and the parallels between her own religious upbringing and the lab rats was very interesting!
I also thought both the lab scenes and the self-harm scenes felt very realistic in their presentation, and that sort of dissociative prose really helped sell that. Great work!
Absolutely stunning presentation. The directing of the camera, hurriedly panning around the screen at times, the gentle flap of the moth's wings during the monologues, and the heartbreaking story of jealousy, pining, and desire to be free.
I've read/watched/played games with theatrical inspirations before, but this is probably my favorite use of the stage presentation yet! Incredible work.
Such a polished and well done VN, especially for a first timer. Every character design told a story, even ones that showed up for like, two seconds. I love Claire's goofy ass so much, and the juxtaposition between her and Eleanor was sooo good. Very intense, esp the descriptions towards the end, but such an incredible little game.
What an incredible work of art. The vibes are reminiscent of games like Her Story or Hypnospace Outlaw, but the overarching world building of the sci-fi setting makes it stand apart as it's own titan of exploratory terminal games. Every element of the game, from the stunning music to the voice acting flows together to create a story that left me completely immersed.
A game this special doesn't come around very often, if anyone is reading the comments debating whether they should play it, here's your sign.
This game will live in my head rent free.
Cryptic, succinct, and really stunning to look at.
I loved the mysterious nature of their relationship, the glimpses of the world they lived in and the flawed yet pervasiveness of their love spanning over several hundreds of years.
The art is also just. jawdroppingly gorgeous, and the audio design really helps to sell the tone of the game.
Really good game.
