Oooooh wow, that was not what I expected at all!

First I just wanna say, the art and presentation of the VN was impeccable. The splashes of warm, irradiated pink with the greyscale aesthetic was incredible, and the paneling of the text bubbles was so well executed!

Second, the relationship between and idol and a fan, and the levels of parasocialness from both sides are such a good topic to make a toxic yuri about, and this one really sold it for me. Having Amarys represent the feelings and hunger that Seolyeong had repressed for years, and it continuing to boil over until everything just. snaps. And through violent, messy, erotic passion, she returns to her craft.

Ugh, this is incredible, what a beautiful game. Thank you for sharing your art.

k: Truly, nothing hits quite like idols selfcest. I hope more people come around to it, haha. Thank you for the lovely comment!

I didn't have much time during this jam to draw that many assets due to a tight schedule so I tried to lean into the strengths of the minimalist palette and make it so that each illustration was delivered with strong visual impact.

To make up for the sparse art/backgrounds, I invested a bulk of my time on animating the positions of the panels and text to set up clear, distinct boundaries between the left and right (idol/fan) identities. I wanted the presentation to circle back into the themes as cohesively as possible.  Everything about Amarys had to pop out in the midst of the monochrome in Seolyeong's pov like a spark of hope, as Seolyeong's ribbon tether to art like a lifeline.  And yet this passion Seolyeong harbors for Amarys/idolhood is what simultaneously destroys her yet saves her. Thank you for catching onto the details behind the production! I appreciate it a lot!
