This is just "bop" :) this aside I really liked the spheres in time with the music, a bit hard to go by reflexes because of the hard shading on the balls so the color was not subconsciously clear, but I really enjoyed playing it

Developer

Yea, a lot of people complained about that...I think I didn't notice because by making the game I got used to the colors before actually playing. But I will definitely come with improved models! Thank you for your feedback! I am glad you enjoyed it :)!

I looked forward to playing your game because it seemed to be a nice challenge. And indeed it was, it was harder than anticipated. It was mostly fair but when the spheres spawn out of view it is slightly harder to get it correctly than when they can already be seen.

As others said, showing the score in the end would have made it better. Maybe even a highscore list would have been nice. Overall really good entry though, enjoyed playing it! :)

Developer

You will see a way more polished version of this game because I am planning on remaking it, so I can publish it on mobile( that is the plan at least :)) ). I need to figure out a theme right now so I can start modeling more interesting and distinct shapes! I will change the camera position and rotation in order to solve the fairness problem:) . Thank you for the feedback and the kind words! Means a lot!

An interesting premise, but I would have liked more differentiation in the shapes of the types of balls coming at the player. I found it hard to remember which was which.

I couldn't agree more...I am currently trying to figure out a theme for the game so I can start modeling more interesting and distinct shapes! Thank you for the feedback:)!\

Simple but intense gameplay, and strangely addictive! As mentioned on stream I think the colours in the guide need adjusting, or maybe the in-game colours - pink looked purple to me, and gold looked more brown.

Also, definitely need to show the score on the gameover screen because I found it too hard to check that while playing :D

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! I wrote it all down and I will be working on it!:)

It's a pretty simple game but the execution is good. Controls are responsive and there weren't any cheap feeling deaths in my time playing. It would be nice if the theming went beyond basic shapes on a playing field or if the current art style was expanded upon with trails/particle effects.

Okay thank you well noted :)

Thank you for trying my game! I totally get your point and I will retheme the game because I am planning to release it as a mobile game (as practice). I planned to do nicer models and overall art style from the beginning but the time was too short for me ( giving the fact that the jam was happening during orthodox easter). I really appreciate your feedback!
