That was terrifying to me, the sound, and feeling like I was lost

Wow, just wow! This was by far the most immersive experience in this jam.

Very impressed with an underwater experience, you go all the way expecting a jump scare, there are some along the way, then the underwater environment really does make you drift and go with it.

Congrats on such great atmosphere!

Amazing. I really loved the atmosphere. The visual, the sounds, the mystery of this cave... Great job, that was a really good experience. It reminds me of my best moments in Subnautica :)

Definitely one of the scariest games I've played in this jam. I thoroughly enjoyed it! The atmosphere was on point and the sounds design was great. It's very inspiring

Wow. Just wow. This was quite an achievement in atmosphere and pacing. Very very light on the jumpscares, but the ones that were present were generally good, minus a few spacing issues. The movement system was really helpful in creating tension and ambience, and the lack of clarity on what was happening really elevated it into a very lovecraftian place. I expected some kind of monster to jump me throughout the game, and was very pleased by what I got. While it was a very breezy clear, all things considered, it made up for its brevity with an absolutely GOOEY atmosphere and sound design that kept me totally enthralled. Most major critique I have is simply that it didn't lock my cursor to the window, so I kept getting distracted by my cursor appearing on my other monitor. This is a very minor complaint though. Very well done! Would love to see this expanded on, even though it was a very satisfying horror experience. I could easily see 8-bitryan playing this on his channel and getting a few legitimate frights out of it!

Thanks for the kind words, I’m glad you enjoyed! I’ll add locking the cursor to my post-jam TODO list (I completely forgot about that)

Really creepy atmosphere and very cool concept!

Didn't finish it as I got lost. It would have been nice if on the map it told you were you were. I would have also enjoyed hearing the thoughts of the diver.

Even though I didn't complete it, the game still felt very creepy, especially since it was leaning towards realism. Really cool work and I'd for sure be interested in it if developed further. Nice job!

Thanks a lot for playing! I’m sorry to hear you got lost. For anyone else reading this, there are a number of arrows scratched into the walls that guide you in the correct general direction. Although they are pretty easy to miss, and may or may not be effective. In hindsight I should have just added a ton more (especially in one particular area). I’ll probably do that after the voting period is over.

Good design. The feeling of exploring a cave under water is extremely well done. Maybe even a bit too much. Some time realism is negative for a fun gameplay. In this case I must say that the pace of the swimming, even if realistic for the environment, felt a bit too slow given the amount of exploration that was required. Anyway a really cool experience and I am impressed that the game run so smoothly despite the huge environment.

Thanks for your feedback. After the voting period is over I’m considering adding a ‘dash’ on a cooldown, as well as slightly increasing movement speed in general.

Thanks for playing!

A really cool game! I loved the concept, I've been in the rabbit hole of watching those caving-diving incidents videos on YouTube recently and you did a really good job at capturing that feeling of being trapped. There were sections of the cave where I got lost and had to backtrack a bit to find my way. The visual effects on the screen were very cool as well. Great game, very well executed.

I was in the same rabbit hole a while back, which definitely inspired this. Thanks for playing!
