Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! And Just you wait... I'm working on some pretty spooky stuff in future updates >:)

Thank you for checking it out! I'm really glad you liked it!

Thank you so much for the nice words! I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

I'm excited for it

I can totally understand that. It's probably wise to focus on the steam version for the time being because of that. Supporting two different platforms at the same time sounds like a nightmare...

Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it! I had a lot of fun working on this game, even wen things were tough. I learned a lot and grew as a game dev. It means so much to me that you picked my game to be part of the gHost's Choice!

It's a very solid game! You nailed the retro aesthetic. I'm definitely going to have to come back and try to get all the different endings

I'm glad you enjoyed it and thank you for the feedback! I'm definitely planning on changing the font of the game. I had to resort to using the default Unreal Font because I was running out of time for the initial build. I'm probably going to switch it to an old typewriter looking font soon!

Definitely one of the scariest games I've played in this jam. I thoroughly enjoyed it! The atmosphere was on point and the sounds design was great. It's very inspiring

I definitely like the vibes of this one! I spent a lot of time driving to the left and reached a dead end. Nothing ended up happening and I ended up getting stuck. I think I might have missed a trigger or something

I'm really glad you liked it! I definitely leaned more into the easier side for the difficulty since I know people are trying to play as many games as possible. I didn't want them to get stuck at some part and never finish it. I've played a couple games so far that were too hard to finish for my skill level haha

This game was really good! I especially love the character designs. The aiming felt really good as well. The game over menu didn't seem to work for me. I couldn't click on any of the buttons, so I had to restart after every death. I unfortunately wasn't able to finish it, but I liked what I played!

I loved it! The art was good, and the scares got me! Also, am I crazy, or was the face at that one part based on Jerma? ...I might be crazy. But great job! Very impressive for your first game!

I'd definitely say this is the most fun I've had playing a game jam game in a long time! The gameplay is very addicting. I always want to get the next upgrade! That's the kind of gameplay I wanted to evoke with Rotting Railway, but I didn't pull it off nearly as well. Great job, I'm definitely coming back to this one!

That was brilliant! The gameplay is fun and addicting. It gives me the same feeling as the Xbox Live Marketplace did when I'd discover a lesser known gem and spend all day playing it. I'm definitely coming back to this one!

That for sure is a false positive. Windows Defender is notorious for accidentally flagging zip files as Wacatac.b!ml I would recommend scanning it with other antimalware software and see what they say. If another one also flags it, let me know.

I really love the art style and I hope you're able to finish it! Sadly, I couldn't play the game too well. No matter what I did, it ran really slowly in my browser (like 5 fps), so I had to stop playing earlier than I would have like to. I didn't let that affect my rating though, since I think I'm the only one having that problem. Really good work!

Very much so! Thank you!

I'm glad you liked it! And thank you for the feedback! Is there anything in particular that sticks out to you that could be improved about the gui? I feel like you did a great job on the UI elements in your game, so I'm all ears!

This is definitely winner material right here. I loved the puzzle mechanics and the atmosphere. It's short and sweet and I can tell already that it's going to leave a lasting impression on me

I definitely feel the same way as Wrinkly Brain Studios. This whole game feels like my life the past several months. The writing in this game is really good!

That was brilliantly done! The atmosphere was great, the sound design was really effective. It definitely got to me at the end. And the twist was really good! The only bit of feedback I can give is that, I wish it would fade to black only after I've pressed spacebar at the end of a sequence. I found myself looking at the visuals too much and had to speed read the very last sentence. But that that is such a small thing and it didn't really drag down the experience. Really great work!

Thank you! That really means a lot!

Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words. I definitely pushed myself a little too hard near the end to get everything done. I need to take it easier next jam

I was wanting to get overheating and reloading in there, but I just didn't have the time to balance it out. But I'm glad you had fun and that you for the feedback!

I'm definitely really liking the card effects!

I really like the little collectable card pickups! That mechanic adds a really nice bit of depth to the gameplay that is refreshing to see in a game jam game!

Once I've submitted my game, will I need to resubmit it every time I update the game during the Jam, or do I only need to submit a project once and it's covered? I'm asking because I want to make sure people are rating my final build and not just the very first alpha build haha

Thank you!

Whoa, that thing kinda reminds me of Chase! I'm going to have to play this later

Can I submit my project to the game jam before its finished and then update it as the game jam continues? Or is my submission final once I've submitted a project? I'm asking since my computer can be a little weird and if I have hard drive issues, I want to have something for people to play. Even if what I submit isn't that great lol

Thank you!

Okay awesome, thank you!

Hi! This is my first time being a part of a game jam and I'm pretty excited! But first I wanted to ask a couple questions about the etiquette of code reuse. I just want to make sure I fully understand the rules before the jam starts.

I saw the planning section had mentioned that "you are welcome to reuse some assets and code from previous projects, but it is something you should limit." Would something like a pause menu be included in this? I'm planning on doing an on-rails-shooter, and a pause menu would be a nice addition, but not really core to the project. I've done loads of menus before, so I wouldn't really be expanding my skills by working on it. I'm thinking it would just take up time that I would otherwise use refining on the shooting mechanics.

Would that be an example of an acceptable use of older code/assets?

Thank you!

I'm also in the same boat! I think it's a good idea. As long as you keep your idea simple enough to be done within the time limit, I think you should be good. And remember to factor in breaks!

Damn, you'd think she'd remember her homework by now lol. I'm excited for it! I have it wishlisted

Knowing it wasn't just me makes me feel better. I've done that now.

I also saw one account leave a bunch of nasty comments on a bunch of games pages on the popular tab. I'm assuming it's probably another one of their accounts. I assume they're mad at Itch or something.

Judging by the numbers, I think it was just one disgruntled person making like a half dozen fake accounts. They also left a bunch of slur filled comments on several games' comments sections. A real charmer, that one. I think they're just someone who feels scorned against Itch for some reason and is taking it out on random people. But thank you for the support, Pizza Doggy! Aside from whoever that was, I'm really impressed at how supportive and just cool the Itch community is so far. It's really nice to see

Hey Raptorsoft, I just want to let you know that I really love what you're doing. I just released my first game and I want to strive to reach the same level of quality that you have. All of your games and demos are so expertly crafted that I can't help but be blown away! I hope you keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing what you do next

That was a brilliantly executed game for only being done in 4 days! Good job

Thank you!
