I enjoyed this one. Clever game idea, and cool visual style. Watching the monster walk around was fun. Some thoughts: I think cutting down the number of body part types would benefit the pacing. You could have arms and legs consist of 1 part instead of 2. Also, I think it would have been interesting for the game to tell me how well I matched the template after completing the monster rather than during. One more note: sometimes the game would not let me place a part after positioning it and I was not sure why.

Very aesthetically pleasing!! I've never seen the black and white style used in a game like this and it really added to vibes I really enjoyed the concept as a whole, really good work:3
Aesthetically, this game just works for me. The combo of B/W and old school PS1 era low-poly graphics is very satisfying. I wouldn't say this game is particularly scary until you complete your monster, and even then the scare immediately wears off because the monster appears to be harmless (I didn't stick around to find out). The gameplay itself is a bit finicky, but very engaging for such a project. If anything, it could be a little more forgiving, and (potentially) correct your placement just a little bit. I had some struggles getting enough pieces to finish my first monster. There also isn't really much of a story here. If anything, it's borrowing from the classic Mary Shelley Epistolary Novel, which I don't mind, but do kinda wish there was an acknowledgement, despite the story being public domain by now (I believe. I could be mistaken, I have done NO research). The sound design is also quite great. There's a satisfying click sound when you get a body part placed, and the ability to drop parts on the ground is helpful for rapidly accumulating a few needed parts, but the conveyor seemed to dry up after a certain time, so I wish Igor would hurry up with those bodies.
Overall, this is a very very solid demonstration of a concept, and I'd be excited to see this game more fleshed out after the jam finishes up!

I really like the art design. You did the retro style well but the black-and-white twist is very neat; I've not seen that done before.
Sound design is pretty good, no painfully loud SFX, no weirdly quiet interactions. Nice music/ambience, nice interaction sounds. The conveyor belt sounds very nice too.
Controls were a bit confusing at first but I got the gist of it. It was fun making little abominations, lol.
Short but sweet. Good submission.
duuuude i really enjoyed this! making heinous monsters and watching the creatures walk around was so funny. great work, good spin on halloween! 馃巸馃巸
Fun to play around. I thought the monster will get ALIVE only if it matches perfectly. Instead you can create and animate anything! That's very fun!
i love this one, out of all the jam games i've played so far i think this is the one that's been the most fun to mess with. if it had just been placing pieces while the monster was on the table it would've been fun, but watching him animate was just so funny and really tied the whole thing together. i wonder if my flounder eyed, bucket torso'd creation is as contemplative as the real frankenstein's monster
