I really liked the game, it was something different. I liked the references to Greek mythology, the overall concept is really cool. You guys did a really good job creating this game

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much for taking the time to play it!

Loved the game. Would really like a way to repeat Daedalus' dialogue and maybe a sprint of some sort. I soft locked the game by not feeding Scylla and Charybdis his head thinking there was another way XD. Overall loved the game.

This game has a fantastic visual style inspired by Greek mythology, with well-chosen textures and eerie, memorable creature designs. The dark atmosphere and clever cyclical puzzle concept kept me intrigued, along with haunting music and sound effects that amplified the tension. Though I encountered a bug that blocked my progress, the game’s intriguing story and sense of mystery reminded me of The Talos Principle. For a 10-day game jam, you’ve created an impressive experience that leaves players questioning their journey. Thank you for the game!

Thank you so much for the kind words and the detailed review :D

Interesting puzzles and a good scary atmosphere! I also liked the voice acting :D

Thanks so much for playing! Glad you liked the VO!

Submitted(+1)

Really liked this one! The atmosphere and voice acting are excellent! I think I softlocked myself in the final room by not doing precisely as asked however, haha.

Developer(+1)

Ah! Was it putting the head in one monster and a token in the other? Thanks so much for playing! And glad you liked the atmosphere and VO!

Submitted(+1)

Yep that was it, haha! I guess I'm the new Daedalus now...

This is my favorite game of the jam so far! The voice acting and graphics along with the creepy deities gave the game a really nice atmosphere. I liked the different room designs keeping the game fresh as you went through it. I loved the story and the choice you have to make at the end. It was all so polished and just made for an overall great experience. Really nice job!

Developer

Wow, thanks so much for the kind words! And taking the time to play! Really glad the atmosphere worked :D

Oh goodness I really loved the atmosphere here, it's so creepy!
Really well done on everything about the game, the puzzles were really nice too :)
One thing I found lacking was any control of music and/or sfx volume, I found the voice acting to be quite on the quiet side, but luckily subtitles were there.

Great stuff <3

Developer

Thanks so much for taking the time to play and so glad you enjoyed it!! Yeah some audio control would be good for further polish!

Cool game. Haven't seen a lot of puzzle-horror game submissions. Unfortunately, I'm not too great at puzzles, lol.

Real nice art. Nice moody lighting. The infinite loop mechanic adds to the atmosphere nicely.

Nice game.

Thanks so much for playing! Glad you liked the looping!

All I have to say is Into Scylla they fell, wishing to avoid Charybdis. (Great game :D!)

Developer

I hope the line haunts you for at least a week :D Thanks for playing!

The atmosphere is cool, but I got stuck on the first puzzle. The death and infinity combination didn't work either. I know you can revise this and make this a more intriguing game.

Developer

Ah no! Thanks for taking the time to play it anyhow!

I like the mysterious, depressing vibe and the usage of Greek mythology. I quickly thought of the opposites of death and infinity, but the combination didn't seem to work every time. I got the feeling the game progressed after I've tried each puzzle enough times. I'm grateful I only needed to go through the labyrinth once. I think I would've really enjoyed version of this where there were different riddles and puzzles revolving around Greek mythology.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! It would definitely be cool to include more puzzles and mythology!

I guess it's one of the few games that i really enjoyed, the game looks and feels like a smaller brother of Talos Principle and i really like it, i really enjoyed the greek myth theme and the soundtrack, i think there's potential for this game even outside of the JAM and it could evolve in a solid project, i really like the idioma you made since i have to choose between two negative things that are not so different. I really like it and with some polish it could be even better. The aesthetic is on top, very good and it's really something new. If i could give an overall feedback, it could be 7/10 for now, i guess it's better to add more flexibility for the player, like running and real time feedback on what's happening, since there's no certain goal, only going straight forward and i like it too since the goal is easier to understand, but it could be the opposite for other players. Now another thing is the lack of sounds, soundtracks. The music was very great and well made or well chosen, i would like to hear more of it in the context of the game. A great perspective would be more puzzles, maybe even similar to TP. I enjoyed it and hope you won't stop there the development since i would buy a polished project if this is just a start!

Developer

Thank you so much for the kind words and the flattering comparison to TP! Also for posting this thoughtful feedback here and in the community thread, we really appreciate it!

Its great to hear you think there's potential and we're definitely thinking about working on it more - adding more puzzles and soundtrack (it was really fun creating the few tracks that are currently part of it). And the ability to run haha.

I really like the atmosphere and the use of Greek myths. I just wish there was a little bit more "puzzles".

I had to replay a second time because I got stuck at the end : I tried to outsmart the game by giving Daedalus head and the death item, but the door didn't open xD

Developer

Thanks so much for playing :D
