Sitting there, clicking 5 buttons and waiting for all of humanity to die. I enjoyed it!

Good game, but not sure if it has an ending because I infected more people than I had on Earth.

Developer(+1)

the end is if you infect the entire global population bringing the value to 0, in the few tests I managed to do before publishing it I managed to finish it but it's quite boring to get there, that's why I pressed the leave button to save the score. Ty for the comment.

Really nice game, reminds me a lot of Plague Inc. Keep up the good work!

Developer

ty, plague inc. is one of the inspiration for this game

I loved the games idea reminded me of plague inc, everything was perfect but the only itch for me was the waiting times, but other than that I love the game, this would be really good on mobile!

Developer(+1)

I received several comments about waiting, unfortunately due to time I wasn't able to implement some mechanics to avoid getting bored while waiting, I'll definitely work on it after the jam is over, I'll try to make a mobile version. Thanks for the comment

The game is a lot of fun. Good Job!

Ty, I appreciate you liked it

Super addictive. I love plague inc, so I had a lot of fun with this one.

BTW, if you continue working on this game, you should try to make it work with the window not being focused. Since it's sort of an idle game it would be nice if I could play it while multitasking.

ty for the comment, probabily after game jam i release a downloadable version for Windows.

Super fun game! I love idle games so this was right up my alley. I did eventually get bored at around 800k score but decided to push to 1mil.

Developer(+1)

1 mil, you probabily broke the UI, I realy appreciated. After reaching 500,000 points, it can become boring because nothing new happens anymore. In fact, in the next updates that I will make, I will try to implement some events to prevent it from becoming boring.

in my opinion this is one of the coolest ideas for the theme. Like i genuinely think that it has the best idea for the theme out of any other game on this jam. of course my thoughts on gameplay are different. one of the biggest problem is that "waiting" is a game mechanic. there's probably more i would say but i don't have time. i didnt have the most fun, although blame that mainly on my gen-z attention span lol.  But hey! I know some people would really like this kind of game. keep doing what your doing. i hope you liked my gameplay vid i sent you in the general chat on discord though.

Thank you so much. To prevent the feeling of waiting, I added those random texts, but I realize they're not very effective. As another guy suggested, maybe being able to interact with the planet or having more things to do on the screen while waiting could be better. In the next update, I'll try to implement these ideas. Thanks again for the video, you're too funny.

Was this inspired by Plague Inc? Anyways, good job! Nice visuals

Developer

Yes, the idea is inspired by Plague Inc. I'm glad you like the visual. Thanks for the comment.

I think this was really creative! The music was great! I would've loved to see something happen as the virus mutates. Like maybe the graphic in the center was the virus becoming more deadly instead of the globe? Overall, great submission!

Developer

ty for the comment, My first idea was similar to the one you suggested, but I'm not very skilled and fast at making sprites. So, I opted for something simpler to save time and invest it elsewhere. When I release future versions, I'll try to implement your idea.

This game is part idle clicker, part text-based RPG with a relaxing yet subtly ominous soundtrack and charming visual aesthetic. You have to read detailed text reports about the virus progression and plan your adaptations accordingly. It's an interesting idea how the virus is like an RPG character and you have to choose the right skill build to get a high score. The globe graphic is cool, and it's fun to click the virus icon whenever it pops up. But there is a lack of feedback from choosing the upgrades, as there isn't much interactivity beyond reading the reports coming in. I wish I could rotate the globe myself and zoom into the different regions to perhaps influence my choices further. But I know this is a short jam so the scope is limited. Congrats on your first jam entry!

Developer

Comments like these make me very happy. Regarding the feedback issue, I already have a build ready where I simply add some sounds. In the next few days/months, I would like to implement exactly what you said, also adding some other mechanics
