Well done on the progression, though I found the start to be somewhat slow, specially when trying to beat an already advanced highscore. Inertia on the ball would have been cool fo some aditional polish, but maybe that was a design decision. Overall, really nice game!

Developer

I completely agree that pacing at the start can be too slow, in fact it was originally even slower O_O.

So the movement was made extremely basic to make sure that there was basically no barrier to entry, I feel that having inertia would be cool but might take away a little from that goal.

Thanks a lot for playing!!

Great work! Pretty fun game, set the record for now (350)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! The record is 350? Looks like lootlocker might be having some trouble fetching the leaderboard on your end as the current world record is 1757. Either way thanks for giving it a shot! I encourage you to try playing again sometime soon to see more of them game! :D

We have made a somewhat game, if we invert the direction of progression and ignore the fact that you were bold enough to create a story based on such a gameplay premise. Stupid things aside, the art is very interesting and wildly varying, while also featuring a satisfying UI. I struggled to understand what most powerups did though, most of them did not appearently have an evident effect on the progression, but maybe it was just me not playing enough or not paying enough attention

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing!! Could you clarify what you meant by "We have made a somewhat game" O-O. Also yeah, the power ups are quite subtle and you would only notice them later into the run. Thanks again for trying the game out :D

Sorry, I meant to say "a somewhat similiar game" ahahah

Late review but I do like the customization offers for both gameplay and character wise. The game has a lot of charm to it and it is quite enjoyable. However, something I think can be better was what some power-ups do because I usually just pick them up whenever I see one. Maybe you can add something in the menu that shows what each collectible does. Other than that it's pretty great

Developer

Yep that's a very valid suggestion, the only reason I didn't do it was because I didn't want to clutter the menu or UI and keep everything clean. Thanks for the review!

BRO, i died pretty quickly the first time i played and then i posted that comment, I see now that theres SO MUCH MORE in this game, like the further down you go the better it gets, really really great job!

Developer

So glad you got to see more of what I had to offer! :D

Cool Game, nice and smooth i like how the difficulty increases nicely over time, very solid

Developer

Thanks for playing :)

i really like pretty much everything about this game. the arts good, the gameplay and menu navigation feel very smooth, and the sound design fits the game very well. Only real critique is that it feels very awkward using the mouse to collect powerups, when the rest of the game doesn't require it. Overall, well done!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I didn't really think of that, now that you bring it up it would probably be better if I used a/d and space for the powerups. Thanks again :)
