This is more of a demo/arcade mode slice of what the final project will be.

For a demo/wip, it feels surprisingly polished. I'm not personally a fan of the score attack style, but it works well enough.
I'm not sure how much of a so bad it's good game this is. The art style is unusual, but it looks really good, and the same goes for the sound effects.
It does make an interesting use of the modifier, though, and the audio cues work great in practice.
This was a nice short but sweet game. I really liked the detailed sketch for background art, trying to find all the little easter eggs was fun!
The various sounds were also kinda funny, and the dirt simple controls made it real easy to pick up and play.
Unfortunate you weren't able to finalize everything but I liked what I saw. Good work!

The sound effects are really good and I absolutely love that art style! It's a really interesting vibe - the game is both very chaotic constantly looking for items and listening out for sound, but both the sound effects and music are fairly chill, so there isn't a real sense of urgency (or more like you've got to give yourself that sense of urgency)! Good job on achieving that feeling 🤩
