I only got to level 5 because I suck at platformers. I don't think this game is too hard, but it's too hard for me.

This game leans a little hard on "it doesn't really suck because we joke about how it sucks" for my liking, but it's unquestionably a "so bad it's good" game. It's a finicky, difficult platform, which isn't SBIG in and of itself, but the jankiness and general weirdness puts it in that category pretty firmly.

My biggest regret with the game is that I put level 5 WAY TOO EARLY. Its way too hard and doesnt fit with the other levels around it.

And that "it doesn't really suck because we joke about how it sucks" was added in at the last minute in  the dialogue,  and that wasnt really planned to be that way but I rolled with it as I was close to deadline. And I totally see how that can be disliked, I even kinda agree with you.

But thanks for the review! Its really appreciated!

This one was cool, the dialogue was funny, the music was good, puzzles got challenging but possible. And wow, what an ending! This almost reminds me of the sort of dark humor flash games I'd play when I was in elementary. Good stuff!

Thank you!!

Outstanding music and just a great game all round!  Really enjoyed playing this.

heyy thanks! Means a lot!

Loved this one!  It seems a lot of effort went into the puzzles and story! Music was pretty sweet, and ending was  perfectly fitting!

The puzzles were quite inventive! Some relied on fancy finger manoeuvres which I'm not always the biggest fan of, but there was never anything frustratingly difficult. I think a decent balance was reached.

Overall, this was another solid entry! The bar seems really high and/or low this year, but I'm sure you'll  do great! Thanks for taking part!

Thanks a lot! Yeah I wish I had made less parts needing plateformer skills but my puzzle making skills are pretty meh. Very glad you enjoyed though!

Yooooo I actually LOVE this. Interesting mechanics, dialog is AMAZING and the music is dope too!

I love how you intentionally made the opening dialog an eyesore. it's such a mess haha, but absolutely hilarious to read, and it gets so meta too!

Literally my only complaint is the dialog advancing sound is much louder than all the other sounds. Since that was the first sound after complete silence, it almost blew my ear drums off! xD Then after turning the volume way down, I turned it back up again to jam out to the music, then the dialog advance sound swung in for a second attack xD xD xD While that may have been intentional for this jam, I think it could be turned down a lil bit. Or maybe a lil warning, perhaps even in the dialog ("Press space to advance. Cover your ears :3 )

Aside from that... Amazing work.

now if you'll excuse me, back to figuring out level 5 :)

Thanks! Means a lot to me! And sounds were the last thing I implimented, while not having much time left, and the volume level was not something I was thinking about so sorry about that  😬 but im glad you enjoyed!
