If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
It's Impossible because you can't see the ground when you jump. Or because you can't see the invisible platforms. Or because sometimes it doesn't let you jump. Yeah...

Any additional information for voters?

The more I look at that guy's face, the more it looks like he has four eyes and a stoic expression.  Fun and glitchy, it's deep in SBIG country for sure.

Really nice effort! This game is hard to a fault, but I still had a lot of fun trying it. Well done!

I've decided to try using a standard format for all my feedback this time around. Please excuse me if I come across as overly curt or miss something important about your game. I'm writing these all quite hastily as there are a lot of games in the jam this year!

What I liked

The graphics. They're bad, but I like them anyway.

What I didn't like

The artificial difficulty via trolling. I don't like this in general, not just in this game specifically.

Did I think it was so bad it was good?

Not really. On the surface, it's an ugly, broken, cruel platformer. If there are hidden depths, I haven't found them. In my mind that's just not so bad it's good on its own.

My thoughts on the modifier implementation

I'm not a fan of ridiculously hard games in general. I'd preferred to have seen a more creative interpretation.

Other remarks

I was never able to pass the first level.

Verdict

A brutally hard platformer. Not my thing, and not so bad it's good in my opinion.

I get all of your troubles with it. I did a platformer game because I hadn't done one before, and I will change a lot of the things you've said in the future. I would have made the tutorial level shorter, but I didn't have enough time because of school :(

I must admit...I rage quit. 

I think the hardest thing for me was reading what counted as a fail/death. So I never knew exactly why I got sent back. 

Still, it's functional and you built/submitted, which is hard to do. Nice job!

Thanks! I really appreciate the feedback. I see why it could be hard to figure out why you got reset (it is because of going below a certain point in the world). I'm really glad you took the time to download and play it :)
