Very simple premese but it was executed well and the visuals were super cute! Maybe the sounds of the instruments could have been a bit softer so that the music would have sounded a bit more pleasant but that's maybe just my preference.
I love this idea! I think maybe can make each melody longer so when play all together it wont sound too noisy. Also maybe adding a goal to ask player hear which is the target sound would be cool!
I like the idea, and sometimes it is fun to chill out and mess around with a little sequencer-type thing. But I felt this was really basic and lacked depth. Others have said to add some gameplay, but I'd say to add more complexity to the sequencing. Have an array of 64 loops to mess around with instead of just 16. Allow the player to build a couple of patterns and play them back in sequence. Stuff like that.
On a technical side, I found the audio started to clip when too many notes very being played at once. And that G# on the black cat is completely dissonant with the rest of the C Major scale.
cool sound system
nice job
It's a cute game, but it lacks a "Goal".
It flows casually and relaxing. Maybe it can be a nice base for a more complex game later.
Something like: "first we play a music, then the player guesses the instruments/icons used".
I'm just tossing ideas... is a nice project. Congrats for your work!
This was super cute
A simple game, for sure.
the piano sounds are really nice, they layer on top of each other quite nicely. There is not that much to the game but it is pleasant to play. There is no objective, goal, enemy or score, so the player can fully focus on relaxing with the piano - which is nice. Critically speaking, the images sometimes keep moving when they are not playing any sound which is a bit confusing. The notes played are very simple, maybe a little bit too simple - as you can't really create an interesting melody with so few simple notes (or maybe I'm just not musical enough ;) ) Good, clean submission, hope you enjoyed making it :)
nice. This is nice music
