The trap music is a banger. Haha. Definitely digging the Godzilla / kaiju vibe from this game (I'm OBSESSED with Godzilla). The objective and controls are communicated very clearly; although I did find it strange that destroying buildings is part of the objective yet it punishes the player by taking health away. I think the game camera could have been improved too if it didn't move left or right, but instead had a field of view that could see all 3 lanes at once. Jumping over mines felt really hard to get right too. I do like the giant platypus idea because platypuses are awesome!

Glad you liked the music! I sampled parts of the original Godzilla soundtrack, selected some trap-ish instruments and created a track with it.
I decrease health with each building destruction to create more decisions for the player. So he might want to avoid buildings when he's low on hp. Else, the presence or absence of a building was nearly meaningless.
Thanks for the in depth comments!
This has a ton going for it. As other have said, it's very satisfying to smash through buildings. My two improvements would be to improve jumping (I'd make it quite a bit higher to help emphasize it given the camera angle), and I'd add an animation when switching between lanes as it's currently a little jarring.
It is realllly satisfying to smash buildings. I really like this one. However, the jump feels week and I would have liked a bit more polish. Solid entry though!
My highscore was 510 :(
I think you can make the camera follow the player much smoother when you switch lines.
But overall it was great! ;D
Good job!
