Don't think I've seen too many sports/comedy jam games before! The writing was great and the use of theme was incredible! Penalties for giving out penalties? Genius.

I really liked the players doing their thing with the ball but I wish it had an actual effect and you had to try and make calls based on what they did. Maybe this is kind of hard to do. The announcers calling stuff out was good but I did not like that it stopped the game. I think this could be a really interesting game if developed more.
The dialog here was soooo fun and this entire game was so quirky and creative i love it
Really creative and clever concept, and excellent use of the theme! Can't believe you did all of this writing and made all these different endings in just a week!
Absolutely loved this original take on the theme! The soccer simulation cracked me up watching the players rush around the field, and the shenanigans throughout the games were even more fun! I loved seeing how my decision making was reacted to by the crowd as well. Amazing submission!
FWIW the game lets me advance past the starting cutscene (playing in the browser on MacOS).
Fun idea! This is a really impressive amount of text to have written for a game in a week - you must have a lot of practice writing stuff like this! I do wish that the gameplay that I saw on screen lined up more with what the announcers told me was happening, although I can imagine that being difficult to implement in this timeframe.
It seems like the game is bugged, the intro cutscene after hitting the ball in the "play" goal wont stop repeating :(
