What modifiers did you use?
Perform a blood sacrifice
How would you consider this game to be Pompous Trash?
This game is, as detailed in the design document and in the opinion of its developers, highly developed in its structure and narrative, thematically cohesive, and a harbinger of childhood nostalgia, but, being unable to bring those ideas to fruition due to a general lack of time, resources, and motivation, will have to contend with the intermediate status of "pompous trash."
Also, there's some pseudo-intellectual metaphysical rambling near the end of the game.
Did you accomplish your goal?
I think so!
What was your goal for creating this game?
Create a short and amusing experience for other people in the jam, get involved in the game dev community, and get feedback on some gameplay mechanics that I might want to incorporate into my next game (the platforming + VN aspect).

love the weird mushroom guys in the background and the cute characters. very Monster World type feel
I kind of feel bad for the slimes and snails, unless they were friends of the mushrooms. If they were they got what was coming.
The art on this is glorious and it feels like the start of something big Iād want to play. Reminds me of Wonder Boy in Monster World, which is a classic. Keep it coming!
Also - hooray for a fellow Godot user! There are dozens of us. DOZENS!!!!
Lot of great art in there. Bonus points for Godot. ;)
Lovely character art š
Wonderful NPC dialogue (Gotta love Anawen) š
10/10 Will have nightmares about those mushrooms š
Cute art and animations! Except for the mushrooms in the background, they scare me
