Pre-made assets (Optional)
The game reuses some UI assets for Queen of (Mine) Carts, including a lot of the menu code. Most the sound effects (excluding music) are reused from there as well. Explosions are from Escapepion. Font is based on the general use font I use for most my Playdate stuff.

Loved the use of the crank, feels just great to play!

The mechanic complexity is so clever!  I expected it to be very 'one note' but was surprised at the depth later levels had with the variety of mechanics.  Really well done and a lot of fun.

Thanks!

This game is so well done! Loved how a simple mechanic got increasingly complex over time, and new variations/mechanics were introduced! Also the art is AMAZING!

I also really liked how the game eases you into the mechanics by starting you off with a relatively easy level to introduce you to something new.

Thanks! I appreciate the comments.

That is a lot of fun! What seems super easy at first, quickly become much more complex with various speeds/weights of the platform.

I wished we could reset the level with the key pad as well and have a level number displayed, but these are just tiny details, loved it!

I forgot to mention, the card art and transition are spot on!

Thanks for the feedback!

You can immediately fail the stage so you can restart using the A button, but I'll have a think about adding that to the directional pad as well. Level number is a good idea and I'll look to get that patched in once the voting period is over.

Great game!

level 10 had me stumped for a bit because disc moved slowly that I didn’t see it move at first. But with playjam games you always that there might be a bug, even if it works as intended, right? Great job

Cheers!

Yeah, the slow movement on stage 10 is deliberate, but in retrospect if I'd taken a few more minutes to think about how someone who wasn't inputting the stage data would see it, I should probably have either have changed the rate at which the objects bob so signify the differences in movement speed or made an object that looked heavier than that (or both). Oh, well, something for me to think about as an update!

Always looking forward to your new games. This might be another win for you ;)
Reminds me a lot of Lemmings, which is always great!

Thanks! And I don't know about that, there's certainly some strong competition!

really enjoyed the ramp up of the gameplay

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Appreciate the comments. It's kind of hard to judge the ramp-up and how long to keep the stages a little on the easy side.

Top tier art. The game combines very well with the Playdate too. More work into it will turn it into a solid title.

Thanks! I kind of enjoy trying to think of ways to make use of the uniquely analogue nature of the crank when making these things.
