Interesting and surprisingly fun game. The writing carries it a lot.
I felt it was a lot of text to read at first, and was a little confused, but after a few runs I got used to the scenarios and the game felt much quicker to play.
There are a few things I would have loved to see improved in the game though.
- The game is set entirely in a text box on a comm device, which really adds to the thematic, but in actual gameplay the player has to constantly scroll back and forth on the screen, which I found to be pretty annoying, and makes it harder to remember important gameplay elements like the current items and stats (which are located on the top of the screen) and the choices (at the bottom of the screen). I would vastly prefer being able to see everything on one screen at all time.
- The goal of the game is to get to 100 days, but nowhere on the game screen that you can check how many days you currently have done or how many is left, which is a huge miss. I felt constantly on edge because I don't know how close am I to the goal (which admittedly might be intentional, but I think omitting important details like that makes me be on a different, undesirable state of edge).
Overall though, this is a well made game. With a few tweaks I think it could be even better.
