Description
This would be an adventure game with a lot of rhythm minigames throughout
Representations:
Converse - This would be the title screen music. It's meant to feel like a conversation between the protagonist and his older brother.
How'd That One Go, Again? - This would be in the intro of the game, a rhythm segment the player doesn't actually play, but the ui looks muddled as the protagonist struggles to remember the song.
Tutorial - This would be, well, the tutorial. It's a flashback to the protagonist as a child, watching his older brother play piano.
Stage Fright - Another flashback. After aforementioned older brother misses a performance due to sudden medical problems, the protagonist plays a little song for the audience instead.
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
If the game existed, it would literally be the protagonist going on a journey in order to remember various thing.

interesting concept, really enjoyed it, but for moments the lack of harmonic support kinda makes me get lost in the melody...
good job OwO
I really like. in all it simplicity it tells a small sad story. Stage Fright does in a way gives us the idea someone is trying to give his best performance. but based on the way the piano sounds this is not the old piano he has at home. it sounds different and better and he hesitates. the pauses are just a bit to long. Just enough to make us understand someone, for a second, had to remember the rest of the sheet music. with the correct visuals this could end up a perfect but sad story. very well done.
So, game should be something like anti-thesis to "Guitar Hero" and others music games? Instead of quick reflexes and cool sound, you will slowly looking for melodies you forgotten?
Also, name of OST is really funny, like it ^_^.
Soft and really simple melodies :) Good job!
In all sincerity, we will appreciate the personal investment in taking charge of music software, and embarking on sound creation without being a composer. It's a bit like waging an unarmed war against a titan: the slightest blow is a victory in itself, even if the colossus is by no means weakened. Here, we can only underline the energy of such a battle, fought with courage and motivated by a touching story of two brothers. Everything in life needs a start, and many Great Artists started with a lot less than what you propose here. With perseverance, since this OST already proves us the abundance of courage, this charming bump of pathway will have everything to end up as a real mountain.
A really emotionally engaging story which you've expressed well in your music! Great use of motifs in each of your tracks. Great work! <3
I love that each track has a concept behind it which is closely tied to the music. Maybe you should also provide a general context for the game story : who is this musician, why is his brother mentioned ? We kinda guess by reading the description of each song.
Really cool concept for the first track.
I love how you interpreted the theme!
In the Intro, it's really cool how you used (at least how I interpret it) the guitar and the piano to represent each brother.
In the second track, I can imagine the old man trying to remember a song pretty well, mainly because of the pauses between the notes and because he only plays one note at a time.
The tutorial fits well as a tutorial and because there are mainly scales and o big intervalls, I can imagine a child playing it.
Together with the intro, the last track is my favourite, just because of the simple but beautiful melody.
Over all, you really nailed it. There's nothing too complicated, but the soundrack just fits the story soooo well! Keep going^^
