Message from the artist
Whoops looks like I submitted the wrong project, but the SoundCloud link is still correct.

I picked option B and gave myself an additional restriction of making the rhythms also palindromes.

This was a really fun challenge. My main regret is only using 4/4 time signature since I had only a few hours to spend on it. Oh the rhythms I had planned... anyways. Evil is a name of a foeman, as I live.

Difficulty

B (Hard)

Make a piece that has the same musical notes both forwards and backwards but doesn’t have to be an identical recording.

Really great track! I felt like in the final Boss fight of a game and it was really nice to hear. I loved the strings and how epic everything sounded.

Really great job!

This is gorgeous! Especially love the lead synth pairing with the orchestra at the beginning and end of the song (and the palindrome switch is so seamless I don't even notice it!)

Great job! Orchestra is not something I thought I would hear for this challenge and it was done amazingly.

Dang, the turnaround is fantastic - you wouldn't notice the reversal first listen if you weren't listening for it specifically!

Very well done soundtrack !
The instrumentation and arrangements are awesome, the palindrome implementation is very subtly implemented and seamless which is really nice for the listener.
Really enjoyed the track so congrats !

I didn't even notice when the track reversed which is excellent! It was super seamless and it all sounded super natural!

The strings were fantastic and my favorite part was any time there was choir!

An excellent submission!

Well done! Great use of synth sounds and orchestral sounds. And great job at implementing the jam's theme so seamlessly!

This is some nice orchestral. The highlight for me is where the composition reverses in the middle, it sounded so cool. Great work!

Nicely done! I am really impressed of what you've managed. I really had my gripe with this jams theme and here you are making it sound like it was nothing.

Wow! Just wow! Incredible track. Grandiose, tense, it fits perfectly into a souls game but at the same time the synths make it so unique. The only criticism I have is I would have liked to hear more of the choir, really added to the boss music feel of that song. Well done!

Thanks! I love layering in choirs to soften and brighten up melodies and harmonies and stuff. They sound kinda cheesy on their own so I tend to shy away from putting them too front and center. If you have a good choir library to recommend though let me know!
