Description
This is a medley of some of my favorite iconic tracks from the game Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. While maintaining the upbeat Kirby energy, I used numerous synthesizers from Garageband and LABS to add an ethereal soundscape to capture and highlight the dreamy quality of the beautifully crafted compositions by Jun Ishikawa and Hirokazu Ando.
The tracks represented in this medley include: File Select, King Dedede's Castle, Boss Battle, Korekara Star (Neo Star), Ruins, Zero-Two, and Ripple Star Map Select.
I hope you enjoy this medley and are filled with nostalgia for this Nintendo 64 gem.

This sounds really great, I realy like how you made the pieces fit so well. You really utilized your equipment well and got a great result.
Really great medley and fits the theme. The transitions were so smooth it sounded like just one whole song. Very impressive how you've done so much with just Garageband and LABS. Great job!
Love the overall vibe you've made here, and some very nice smooth transitions!
Nice! Zero-Two is my jam and you nailed it. Plus amazing use of the theme!
Really nice instrumentation, I like how you fit everything to the theme. This makes me want to play kirby haha
Great job putting all these tracks together, the transitions are seamless.
The vibe is nice and the transitions between music is really well made!
WOAAAAH! I loved every second of it. Amazing medley, I haven't played many kirby games but I totally recognize the way it sounds, and you completely nailed it :D
I also LOVE that it sounds almost as a progressive-symphonic rock track because of the way it goes forward constantly evolving till it gets to a complete climax where your ears are pure joy. from 3:15 onwards its INCREDIBLEaaaaaaa
awesome job, I loved it ^^
Damn, great sounds and nice job! I haven't played this one but I enjoyed the old-school Kirby games, I clearly need to take this one for a spin.
Really nice medley, I'm super impressed with how many songs you were able to fit in while still having it all flow naturally!
I knew after the last JAM that you wouldn't' disappoint on volume of songs. And here we are again, 7 songs in one medley!
Your transitions between songs are totally on point. You structured it exactly how I would expect from a live band performance but in the capsule of a video game montage. It felt like an awesome credit scroll sequence. You really nailed the sound scheme too, this sounds like it totally belongs in Kirby 64, I'm surprised that I don't see soundfonts on your list of tools.
Awesome job!
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! As much as I love N64 soundfonts, I challenged myself to recreate the sounds from the tools I had. I did lots of layering and added lots of effects to find the perfect sounds I wanted. I'm glad it came across as authentic Kirby!
This is great! Not familiar either, but love it!
Can’t relate to the nostalgia (didn’t play the game), but still, really liked the general vibe! Absolutely enjoyed the fading and the melody at the end, and the composition is very nice all along. Thumb up!
Nostalgia trip for sure!
