Description
My track is based on retro games from the 16bit era.
With the Chiptune genre, I was inspired by the sound of Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo and a little bit of arcade too. For the music composition, I used DAW FL Studio. The music conveys a sense of urgency. I imagined a protagonist fleeing in a chase in a futuristic urban setting, even a bit cyberpunk.
I imagine that the game could be of the very frenetic Endless Runner genre.

Theme:

Runaway

How does it fit the theme?
The soundtrack evokes a sense of urgency that fits well with the escape situation.
As in a game where the player's main skills would be dexterity, agility and perspicacity. Runaway is a great title for a game, as it is simple and sounds very good.

Dude!  This was epic! Sorry I couldn't rate this in time. I was feeling very Turtles in Time or Double Dragon. Brought me back to my younger days. this was so great! Wonderful job!

Developer

What an absolute bop. Love those orch hits, really gives that low sample rate edge that I need in my life.

Epic percussion and very nostalgic! I'm a sucker for these chiptune beats. Epic percussion. Stayed interesting until the end. That alarm in the end, haha. Reminds me of Goldeneye 64. Thanks for sharing!

Man I haven’t heard orchestra hits in ages, and I’ve never heard them used this heavily so well. Nice work, great Megadrive vibe.

Developer

Hey, brow! Thanks a lot!

Thank you, man! I'm really happy that you like itπŸ˜†

This slaps! I can definitely see this in a hectic endless runner like you described. I like the helicopter sounds at the end, it helps sell that β€œon the run” feeling.

Exactly, dude! It's that what I'm talking about. 😎

Oh this was amazing! Lots of variety and a really strong forward momentum. Love the leads. Love how it just keeps going relentlessly. It leaves me wanting more! Especially with that alarm sound at the end, I felt like I was on a rollercoaster getting ready for a second drop! I was hoping so much to go on one more ride!

Stellar work man.

This is a great track! Right off the bat, you are using a wonderful variety of instruments and effects, with a tight mix that really gives it a retro arcade feel. The track is constantly evolving, never situating on a single theme for too long. Very catchy too, you did an awesome job! I wish there was more!

Developer

I am very happy that you liked it! It took a little work to make, but it is very nice when I receive a comment as gratifying as this one. Thanks, my friend! God bless you immensely.

So good! I love a good orchestra hit used properly, the music is really catchy and would fit great in a fast paced game. I wish you composed more tracks!
