This is was fun. I was confused at first because I did not know if I was allowed to go over the same spot twice, since that tends to be a staple of these kinds of games. Maybe make a note of that in the instructions or, if this is not too complicated to set up, give the player a bonus for not going over the same spot twice or completing the level in less than X moves.

Developer(+1)

That is indeed a classic mechanic. I don't feel it would mix well with "you go straight until you hit something" since it would be very limiting the level design. "Less than X moves" would be the way to go then.

I agree. I did find the option to move in any way I wanted very liberating and finishing in X moves would be a bit more unique.

I love these kinds of games so just wanted to add one more request for more levels please! :D

Thank you for your interest in this little prototype. I'm not sure I will find the time and energy to continue it, but never say never.

Definitely understand never wanting to ever look at a jam game ever again after the jam finishes, haha. Great work though!

The game puts you in a good mood. The graphics look great, the music and sound effects fit well, and the gameplay is smooth. Good job!

Thank you for playing and commenting!

Potentially a really good puzzler here. Just need some more levels and maybe a rating system. Like "Get 3 stars for completing it in X moves" or whatever.

Developer(+1)

Hum... there seems to be a consensus about more levels and a move counter, I need to take note of that.

Thank you for playing anyway!

Very fun little game, it's too bad there's only one level.

There is a problem with your credits, however. If the works you used weren't CC0, you need to state the name of the work as well as the license in the credits, along with the author's name.

Also, you seem to only have five assets from OGA? The rules say you have to have six assets.

Either way, keep up the good work! :)

Thanks!

Thank you for the remainder, there is indeed an asset that is CC-BY-3.0 (other are CC0). If you scroll down the page the assets with their licenses are listed, do you think that it is enough or should this information be present inside the game as well? (And you can count that there are six assets total, all from OGA)

That's probably good, thanks.

I really liked the game's aesthetic and how addictive it is, trying to finish the level in the fewest moves possible.

The only real improvement I can see is the adding of more levels.

Apart from that the game is really cool. Good Job.

Developer

Thank you very much. There are many more improvements I could think pf, but indeed more levels is the most obvious one!

The game was surprisingly fun tbh, I would really like to see more levels it's the type of game I would have spent hours playing when I was a kid! :)

Developer

Thank you, levels are indeed lacking. (Beautiful avatar btw)

It would be a lot of fun if there were more levels.

Developer(+1)

You are right but hey, time limits are ... limiting!

Submitted(+1)

Of course, it's understandable.

Great puzzle gameplay idea and I like the sound effects.

If you developed it further, I'd love to be able to see how many moves I've made :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you. Finishing in few moves should indeed be the goal. It needs some sort of counter (and more levels, ofc).
