Solid game all around!  Favorite piece of the platform design is when you jump on a platform and the rest of your friends hang on to each other.  Nice touch!

Developer

thanks for the kind words!    Glad you got a kick out of the how Yulpers' segments (friends) work to keep up with him.   The jam was one month long and I spent the entire first week just working on the physics and mechanics for those segments.   It took a lot to get it right and I was pretty worried I wouldn't have time left for the rest of the game, so it's good to hear it was worth it in the end.  :)

It's a retro-fresh idea.
Good job dude !!

It's SUPER MA---- YULPERs! yum. This was a fun little platformer, very well polished, a bit on the easy side, but hey, I'm a dad, easy is fun these days! anyway. great little game, you even have a level editor. niiice.

Developer(+1)

thanks!   Glad you appreciated the easy difficulty, you've totally hit upon the reason for it.  A dad here too and my play testers definitely hewed on the younger side.    Moreover, thanks to the level editor, my oldest son helped quite a bit with the level design.   One specific contribution he made was to edit the last level and make it quite a bit easier.  I explained that it was the last level and it should be a kinda hard, but he just said 'yeah but I don't like when it's too hard'.   Hard to argue with that logic.  ;)

Yeah, can't argue with that, lol. I gotta see what my  4 year old thinks of this one, it's really fun and cute! I'm sure you could release this commercially with some more levels and what not, too.

That's right, but perhaps the flaws in his plan simply prove that his heart was never really truly into being evil afterall.  ;)
