Strangely compelling, the loop of panning for gold, collecting gold from the auto-panner and from the processor and cashing it in is very satisfying. I wanted there to be more progression in the tech tree but for 9 days work you've already achieved a lot there. Nice entry!

Developer

Thank you for your kind comment! 😊

I must admit that the tech tree is pretty scarce, but I've managed to achieve the minimal production loop I've wanted to have, so I'm happy. Maybe in the future I could expand the game, but I dunno.

Anyway, thank you!

Cheers, and good luck! :)

i really dig the concept you got going on here. a clicker game, but with a little world to explore and people to interact with. seeing the world change as you purchase upgrades was also rewarding. if you've got the fire for it, expanding on this would make for a great little experience. good work! :)

Developer (1 edit)

Well, I was leaning more into the Factorio/Forager mood, but now that you say it... it definitely feels like a clicker game :p

I dunno if I will continue with the game. If I do it I doubt it would be something serious, as I have university/work to do. But who knows! I'm getting so much feedback and ideas...

Thank you, I really appreciate all this comments!

Cheers, and good luck! :)

Heya, that's a great game! That reminds me of the idle games like cookie clicker. And to be honest, while there was upgrades, I really enjoyed it.

Suggest to put WASD in the commands as well for newcomers, but besides that, 11/10, would play it again when more upgrades were available

Developer(+1)

Yup, as other had stated, it feels like an idle game. Not intended, but hey, nice! :P

WASD is now in the description (I guess, I'll recheck) as someone else told me.

Thank you for your kind comment, I'm glad to hear that you enjoed the game.

Cheers, and good luck! :)

Nice game! I had fun purchasing the new machines. I would love to see more of this! You’ve got a cool base to build on here. Great job on the submission!

Thank you for your kind comment! I love to hear you enjoyed it!

Nice! It would be nice if there were more machines you could build, but other than that, it was good.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your comment! I originally planned to have more machines, but time flies...

Cheers! :)

I truly relate to that...

Cool idea; it reminds me of that 3D gold mining game whose name escapes me.

Developer

Thank you for the comment. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the game :)

Neat idea, I could see this concept getting expanded out into sort of a Factorio-like game. I would have liked to have had some sort of win condition.

Developer(+1)

Actually Factorio and Forager are the strongest inspirations here (didn't play them, but I've seen lots of YT gameplay).

The original plan was to have the "lore" explained in-game, and the "win condition" was to provide money for your family (a car, son's university, this kind of things) but ad nauseam, simbolising the fact that we need to work and earn money to keep the machine running ;)However, I've run out of time, and kept it simpler.

Thank you for your kind coment, and I'm glad that you liked the game :)

Developer

Now the game is playable in-browser!

Also, the Unity Project is uploaded.

I had so much fun playing this! I got kind of addicted while I was mining gold. The graphics are super cute. Try cutting the player's hitbox in half so that it only affects the area around their legs!

Developer

I'm sincerely grateful for your kind comment.

I am more leaned into the programing part, so i was pretty much unsure about the graphics. Most of the credit is for the talented Internet people, but I'm happy about the sprites I've made myself, and I'm glad you've liked them.

The game is pretty simple, but I'm pretty happy of how it turned out, and I love to hear that you enjoyed playing it.

Thank you! ❤️

By my opinion, you nailed it.
