Jam themes tend to be wide open so you can play around with them.

Don't restrict yourself to "bitwise" in the strict C way. For example, if you think something in terms of bits, or being made out of bits, you're thinking it "bitwise". There's also the "Wise Bit" twist proposed above.

Be creative, and have fun with C! 😁

Thank you for your kind comment! 😊

I must admit that the tech tree is pretty scarce, but I've managed to achieve the minimal production loop I've wanted to have, so I'm happy. Maybe in the future I could expand the game, but I dunno.

Anyway, thank you!

Cheers, and good luck! :)

The aesthetic is astonishing man! I'm pretty much speechless, not gonna lie

I hope you do great here, because you deserve it. :)

Yup, as other had stated, it feels like an idle game. Not intended, but hey, nice! :P

WASD is now in the description (I guess, I'll recheck) as someone else told me.

Thank you for your kind comment, I'm glad to hear that you enjoed the game.

Cheers, and good luck! :)

(1 edit)

Well, I was leaning more into the Factorio/Forager mood, but now that you say it... it definitely feels like a clicker game :p

I dunno if I will continue with the game. If I do it I doubt it would be something serious, as I have university/work to do. But who knows! I'm getting so much feedback and ideas...

Thank you, I really appreciate all this comments!

Cheers, and good luck! :)

Ok, this game blew me. I love bullet hells, and this smells bullety as hell :p

The controls feel just right, the graphics and sounds are very polished, the music is LIT AF, and the weapon progression is pretty on point. Congrats man, this is gold!

Cheers, and good luck (but I don't think you need it)! :)

Straightforward premise, clean execution. It was a nice puzzle to solve!

Cheers, and good luck! :)

Satisfying simulation! :)

The camera, damn that camera... It's amazing. The game itself simple and clear, fun nonetheless. I would love to see this camera thing expanded into many games man. Keep working!

Cheers, and good luck! :)

This game is lit. Period. Play this. Its fun, good music, simple concept, nice graphics, and you're A FRIKIN TOASTER THAT SHOOTS TOASTS TO OTHER TOASTERS I MEAN DAMN I LOVE IT SO CUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

Hey! Thanks for your comment. I didn't test the web build that much, I'm sorry for the issues :(

For the rest of things, didn't have much time for some of the features you mention and others I had in mind. If I am in the mood to keep with the game, I'll take into consieration your feedback.

And for the resources issue, I'm diggin' my web history and I'll update the description.

Hugs!

Thank you for your kind comment! I love to hear you enjoyed it!

Cheers, and good luck! :)

Thank you for your comment! I originally planned to have more machines, but time flies...

Cheers! :)

The idea is that, if you see a project that clearly takes more than the jam span to be made (or, on the other hand you think is way simpler for that amount of time. But I wouldn't judge that, since we're all begginers/friendly here) you could denote that something's wrong there...

Thank you for the comment. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the game :)

Actually Factorio and Forager are the strongest inspirations here (didn't play them, but I've seen lots of YT gameplay).

The original plan was to have the "lore" explained in-game, and the "win condition" was to provide money for your family (a car, son's university, this kind of things) but ad nauseam, simbolising the fact that we need to work and earn money to keep the machine running ;)However, I've run out of time, and kept it simpler.

Thank you for your kind coment, and I'm glad that you liked the game :)

The game is super cool! It reminds me a bit to "Hack 'n' Slash", but with the most iconic CPU ever built. :)

The game is wonderfull, works as it should and very well thought. Maybe it's a bit harsh if you have no prior knowledge about CPU microarchitecture, but with the documentation I guess it shouldn't be difficult.

Cheers, and good luck! :)

The idea is lit! The real "shooter-on-rails", one could say hahaha.

The controll scheme is a bit convoluted with the multiple cars and so, and there's some minor bugs. Anyway, the game is super enjoyable, had much fun playing it. Congrats!

Cheers, and good luck! :)

Conway's GoL it's a classic, but this twist is pretty cool boys!

I have to admit that I didn't succeeded much in playing it, but I had fun.

Not much to say here: fun, simple, well-thought, well-executed. GG

Cheers, and good luck! :)

Simple, fast, but curious concept nonetheless.

I guess there's no end point to the game (as for now) or I'm just low IQ :p
Anyway, I've enjoyed it!

PD: You have a bug when pressing the tab. The game crashes if you press it more than two times (as there's only two levels). You could either check that no more than (# of levels) presses are taken into account, or use levels % (# of levels) when indexing the level list.

Cheers, and good luck! :)

Hey! I couldn't try the game, as you just uploaded the source code.

I assume you're using Java, but I don't know which version or dependencies are needed in order to compile the game.

I would suggest more information on that matter - or even better, a compiled executable.

Good luck! :)

Now the game is playable in-browser!

Also, the Unity Project is uploaded.

I'm sincerely grateful for your kind comment.

I am more leaned into the programing part, so i was pretty much unsure about the graphics. Most of the credit is for the talented Internet people, but I'm happy about the sprites I've made myself, and I'm glad you've liked them.

The game is pretty simple, but I'm pretty happy of how it turned out, and I love to hear that you enjoyed playing it.

Thank you! ❤️
