Of course I hope I can improve many aspects! this is my third jam and my first play for this jam

Loved it. If the movement was a little bit faster it would be nice. Regardless, great job!

Thank you, I appreciate that you came to try the game, you commented and that you took the time to play, I will improve that in future projects!

regards!

I did enjoy playing and think it has good potential, but here are some suggestions if I may:

  • Its challenging but because main character moves slowly it may be a bit annoying after several tries;
  • I like the effort on the level design and like the look & feel of these background sprites, but the problem is some players might get confused and think they can actually land on some of these while they will just fall down;
  • Adding a coyote time jump would probably avoid frustration;

Also I did enjoy a lot the audio and the effort you put into it. Really feels like a Nokia 3310 game ^^

Hello, thanks, it seemed like the comments and that you took the time to play, yes, I really also realized that in the levels, but with the passage of time doing the rest, I forgot to improve the platforms to avoid confusion with the background,

I tried to make the game as similar to that time as that is why it is somewhat frustrating but I also know that it is not the best way to make a game haha

also for that part do not implement the coyote time,

due to the fact that I tried to resemble the limitations of the time

I appreciate your observations and I will improve those aspects in some way that fit with this or other projects in the future, greetings and thanks!

I love what you have so far with this game. I'm impressed with the player move set and animation along with the level design around the move set.  Also love the little scanlines you added in.

I didn't finish the game, but I think I made it pretty far. Definitely one of my favorites so far.

Thank you for commenting and sharing your opinion, I really appreciate it.

It took me a while to do the level design, I've never been good at level design, I hope you have fun

Greetings and thanks for playing

Sometime commands do not respond correctly.. apart from this, I love that each level has its own music and also love the "scanning line" effect, it's a nice touch! I can see the effort in making this

Thank you, I really appreciate your comment and to those who have tried the game, I tried to make the controls somewhat dirty to show the time when the controls were clumsy, I tried to make it as similar to that time as possible, although if the controls fail more than usual I suppose I will have there was an error. I appreciate the observation

I like retro games or those that emulate being retro. I have no intention of winning, but I like to know that people have tried it and that I not only wasted time, thanks, I'll take a look at your game!

I think the best we all can get in making game jams is the gratification that someone played the game you  spent time in. Great job, again!
