I played it till I get around 2k scores. Only faced the boss once, not sure if there is more to it. But really liked the space impact vibe. I always used to make these patterns when I was a kid 
Wish there were more variations to the enemy behavior and homing missiles just like space impact. Keep it up :)

Thank you! I actually just got the boss programmed with a detailed fsm to help withg this. The enemies too, but can't update till after the jam is over. Thank you for your feedback!

I intended on implementing a loot drop to give a speed up and slow down time effect.
Plus the boss is supposed to shoot back but here were are :D
