Woaahh, this is really cool! Has a lot of personality already! Not very good at Metroidvanias, so didn't quite finish, but with a little more polish it would really feel like a demo for a full game! I love the art and music, too~

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Don't beat yourself up for not finishing it, I've been told the controls are a bit wonky! I'm sure that didn't help! Thanks again!

I've checked only around 30 submissions but so far this one is imho the best (from all the 2d games at least). Controls are the only thing that I find slightly annoying but I belive that once you master it they are ok. My game also have controls that need few moments to get a proper feeling of them.

Other than that it's a fantastic, complete package with great animations, arstyle, level design and elegant mechanics. It feels very polished and I very much would like to see (and buy it) in a store. Congrats!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!

Awesome art and presentation, music is really fitting too. Like others have stated, controls were difficult to get a hang of but after getting used to it it was fine. Cool game!

Developer

Thanks!

Amazing job! Great use of the palette and the animations are really clean. I  found the cat pounce to be a bit difficult, but it's still a cool mechanic nonetheless.

Thanks for playing!

Impressive work!!!, loved the pixel are the animations and the sound!

Came across with a bug though, i jumped close to the wall and i "died", somehow the stone throw me inside of the wall and i could not move after that.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Sorry that happened to you, I'll look into it after the jam!

good game but the controls are weird

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yes, that seems to be one of the main complaints, I'll look into fixing it after the jam.

great game!

I haven't finished it but it seems like a great game with a lot of thought

Developer

Thank you!

I haven't finished the game YET, but it's really good. Graphics, in particular animations are super clean, the music is really nice too. Control is a bit stiff, but still really good and go well with the gameplay. Overall a very nice, well polished game.

Developer

Thank you! I've been told the control feels a bit off, I'll look into working on that. Thanks again!

I can't put into words how much I love this game.

It's really impressive!

Keep it up!

Developer

Thanks!

I can't believe you only have 2 months of experience, great game!

Jump doesn't feel super responsive, but everything else is spot on.

Developer

Thank you! I'll try and work on getting that ironed out next time!

Really cool game, we like it a lot. We had little hard time to find the dead cat bounce :D but when we found it we had fun time to play it!
Very good  graphic work!
Game was too punishing, there is no check points, bcs of that we didn't go till the end.
Bravo for your work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I probably needed to get other people to play it before I published it. After playing for so long it felt too easy, so I decided to move the only check point to the end of the level near the boss. That's my bad! Shame you didn't make it to the end, that was my favorite part! Thanks again!
