What a surprise! Voice acting was really unexpected. I tried to implement VA in my game but I sound terrible no matter what I've tried so I gave up on the idea. :D
I really like how smooth the gemeplay is and the overall ambience of the game. Good job with mutliple cameras and how they guide/show to player the objective in form of minicutscenes. The UI and presentation were really elegant/polished.

I hope you will continue with the project as there is a lot of potential here.
Btw. not sure if that was intentional but I had between 13-28 fps in the initial cutscene. Not a big issue as the rest of the gameplay was sold 165fps and that might have been by design to make it "cinematic" or to mask loading of the level.

Thank you for playing the game!

Voice acting and cinematic cutscenes was always on my "to learn" list and this jam helped us improve a lot. Im really glad that you liked the game and we appreciate your feedback!

This issue you encountered was because of the too many props and particles happening in the scene at the same point. After the cinematic we optimized it a bit (by making invisible the props player cant see) so it will not be uplayable (Thats the reason we avoided the Browser as well ... playing a game at 10-15 fps is by itself brutal ;p )

Oh, I was positively surprised how well the game worked after that cutscene. May I ask how big was your team? Also I'm wondering how many of us were crazy enough to do it alone as I did :D

We were a part of 3 people and each of us had a task which made the development of this game much easier that if we were solo!

I think teams can help you grow and also you divide the stress  of the deadline :)

Yes, there were times when I was glad that I worked solo but whenever I had to switch to Blender or other graphical software I was loosing so much time (and patience) and I really wished to have a teammate.

Fantastic voice acting and a great concept. Humor was very good as well. I think I did encounter a bug though since I wasn't able to reach the key no matter how much I jumped.

Still a great submission though. No idea how you got this much done within the window.

Hey fisher2470 thanks for playing the game!

About the key, there is a barrel in there which you can pick and place it under the it. After you do that you will be able to jump to the barrel and reach the key ;)

Not gonna lie, the last 3 days before the jam finish i probable had 8 hour sleep in total. ;P

Hey! Thank you very much for the kind review. We poured a lot of blood, sweat and tears into that one. I am glad you liked it! 😁
