- I loved how the mechanic doesn't have any issues, you don't feel the lag between stopping and moving or jumping, normally in lots of games, you could feel that, but this one is much more responsive! Improvements could be made such as tweaking the speed, adding more objects to the game, making the levels a little complex, etc. I would suggest you keep up this work, don't think of this as a jam project only! As for the style, the character and background seem a little different from each other. Changing the character art would make it much more beautiful. Getting the attention of the player is so important, at least once every 20 seconds, try keeping the attention in-game!! Players have to try playing with their best gamer skills. Overall I really enjoyed it playing! Keep up the good work.

Selected Challenges!
Theme - Minimalism
Alone - Player is alone in the whole game setting. There is no other live creature.
Everything is the Enemy - Since protagonist is alone, everything other than him, eg - traps, pitfalls are his enemy.
Edited after Judgement:
------------------------------
Planning on adding a lore to the game.
Lore - You are a researcher working in a top secret research facility. You job? To create a drug to cure a highly deadly disease. You were successful in creating the drug but unfortunately, it had side effects. The entire population takes the drug and because of it, they all have died. You have been hiding in the sewers under your lab for months and its about time you get out of here.

if you make a story it would be more Interesting ,
Hi..
I am glad you liked the game.
Definitely has a story that I am working on which I'll add soon.
Very well-made game! Reminds me of good old arcade games :D
Hehehe...I am glad you liked it :D
Liked the music!
Hi.. I am glad you enjoyed the music! Our Music Engineer has really put in some good work!
Good job, it's a nice game. Liked the music!
Hi.. I am glad you enjoyed the game :D
Nice job! The controls feel quite smooth! I think that with some expansion/updates/polishing and some lore (as you already wrote in some comments) could be a nice platformer!
In the comments, you seem to appreciate critics/feedback and reporting bugs so (as I usually test games) I try to break your gameplay code and logic...I couldn't find almost anything strange. Only 3 small details:
Anyways nice work!
Hi.. I am glad you enjoyed the game ^_^. I definitely have some ideas for its expansion although it will take some time as I am going to start working on it after the judging is completed.
Yes, I appreciate any sort of criticism and feedback so I definitely appreciate this. As a developer it feels nice when someone doesn't find much bugs in your code even when they intentionally try to break the code XD.
As for your 3 observations:
Thank you so so much for playing the game and for this feedback!
really cool art loved the style!
Hi.. I am glad you liked the game :D
Nice Art dude
Gud Job
our games r kinda the same idea LOL
Oh really? I definitely need to play yours soon then XD
Perfect smooth animations of character. I like it. Great job!
Hi.. I am glad you liked the game :D. Thanks for playing it.
Pretty solid game for this jam. No complaints except the saw blade got me without touching. Not a big deal though so good job!
Hi.. that's unfortunate. I definitely need to look at the box colliders of the Saws. Do you remember where it got you without touching..?
I think it was the last in a series of 5? Maybe? I don’t remember. Like i said, it’s not a big deal.
ohh alright. I still wanna check it out XD.
Thanks for the feedback!
Great job - the music and sound fx are great and controlling the character was good too. Lots of levels too, the one I found most difficult was the second laboratory level.
Hi.. I am glad you enjoyed the game :D. I purposely made that particular level a little challenging than the rest XD.
I definitly like the artwork and soundwork! I feel there could easy be a lore and a backstory given how good this game looks already!
Yes. There is a lore and backstory that I am going to implement once the JAM judging is finished.
The background music was a tad loud and almost completely covered the sound played at the end of levels. For me the game feels kind of empty overall. I feel like it would be more engaging with more variety of movements (double jump, sliding, ect) or more types / amount of traps and the inclusion of enemies. As it is it really gives the feeling of being alone so I understand why it is as it is.
That being said, this is a very good base for a larger platformer. The controls are nice, as are the level layouts. I did not have my movement effected by the edges of platforms and I really appreciate that!
Hi.. yes, that background music does over powers the sound at the end of the levels so will take care of that later. I do get why you feel that the game is kinda empty overall. I do have something planned for it. Instead of going for variety of movements, I plan on implementing a lore for it after the judging is finished.
I am glad you enjoyed the mechanics and the level design of the game :D
Loved the audio work! Try to keep a constant art style between the various game elements next time! Good job overall!
Hi.. I am glad you liked the audio. Our Sound Designer really did some great work. As for the art style, unfortunately, I had to use free assets and from different artists at that.. Thanks for playing the game :D
I like the graphics and the controllers but the character not matching up with the levels.
Hi.. Yes I agree with the character not matching with the levels. I have some lore in mind which I am going to implement after the Judging is over. So I am sure my choice of using this particular character will make sense. XD
Cool game. Great controls, felt very smooth. Keep up the great work!
Hi.. I am glad you enjoyed the game.
Good game! The only problem that I could find was the main character not matching up with the background and platforms. I would either replace the black outline with a different shade of blue or outline everything else.
Hi.. Thanks for the feedback. Yes I agree with the character not exactly matching the background. I had an incident with my artist and didn't have anyone to draw the artwork. So I had to use an asset. I used this particular one thinking about the lore but unfortunately wasn't able to implement it in time. I am planning on implementing that after the Judging is done.
I understand your problem. Nothing you can do about that.
Really cool concept! I liked the maps and the music was great! The controls were smooth! Maybe the game was too easy tho, but I really hope in a full release! Great job, keep it up!
Hi.. I am glad you enjoyed the game :D. I wanted to make the game levels easy-moderate so I am glad that I am successful in it XD. I am planning on doing another release which will incorporate the lore and the suggestions that I will get.
This was a cool game! I want more lore about the people on the missing posters! Smooth controls & nice music.
Hi.. I am glad you enjoyed the game :D. The sound designer really made some amazing background music. As for the lore, I have something in mind which I am going to add once the judging is done. Hope you'll enjoy that :D
You should add a mute button, and some punishment for dying(for example coins not respawning, lowering potential score)
Hi..
Those are really good points, specially the punishment for dying one. For some reason it didn't hit me...XD. Will look into this soon. Thank you for your feedback :D
