  • so close to a great game! amazing graphics, fun soundscape, brilliant spin on the platformer with the leash / two-character dynamic. wonderful interpretation of the theme, but too easy to get locked into a stuck state with scrap.

Really cool concept, I wish there was more of it.

If you were to expand on it, I wonder what you could do by radically changing the movement and physics of the dog and person. Like maybe the person is heavier and can trigger pressure plates, while the dog can run faster and go through fast closing doors the person can't, or something.

super cute!! Loved the art and that there was an actual story/motive :) I got confused by the controls at first and didn't realize they were written below, maybe something written on screen would have been nice. Really great job though! Wished it was longer :)

Short and sweet, really wish there were more levels, I didn't fully get how the mechanic worked

really fun and simple 2d platformer concept, could take this a ton of places. love the soundtrack too!

Love the intro! The game is very charming with it! The fact that you control the dog then the its owner is very interesting. I'm very curious what could be the next levels of this game.

This is a nice concept and the graphics are excellent. If you continue working on this game, please add more difficult levels and fix the softlock that another player mentioned. But for a gamejam entry it demonstrates the theme nicely!

Great work! I do wish there was a tiny tutorial. I also wish it was a bit longer of an experience. But great work on setting the mood!

This is so cute!! The art is amazing and matches perfectly with the game!

A tutorial in game would be nice, even if shotly showned as the gameplay begins (like a text above the dog in the first level), once the player don't know what to do, neither how to do something.

The game is very fun, but it was too short! I wanted more to play!!!

I especially like the art.
Also good job to the developers with the leash breaking on the collision with the floor.
I also was lost with the "x" to reconnect.

It was a bit too short.

I think the mechanic needs a bit more player agency. For example giving the player the option of switching the character rather than losing the connection.

So cute! I really enjoyed seeing bits and pieces of the art during the jam, and it all came together so well with the music and sfx. It’s clear that you had a really strong sense of what you wanted the atmosphere and feel of this game to be like. The central mechanic is fun and original, and the levels you provided sparked my imagination about what this could be like as an expanded puzzle-platformer. I had a lot of fun with the jumping mechanics in particular and I can imagine that adding more verticality to these levels would make it more challenging pretty quickly.

I got into one or two tricky situations with the positioning of the characters (though nothing I couldn’t get out of on my own) so maybe a “reset level” button would be nice, if it isn’t hidden somewhere already? But wow, this was so sweet and a joy to play. Great stuff and I’d love to see more!

Want to thank the team for the project, I'm pretty grateful for this and it's so nice to see the results!!

Gameplay is brief and simple, controls are smooths, but I didn't know how to reatach the leash until I read the game's description.

The game concept isn't new, but not frequently seen and aligns with Jam's theme. Reataching the leash could be a nice mechanic, if expanded.

Art and Sound design are cute and carefree. It is clear that a lot of love and work was put in it.

Overall I had fun and wish I could play it more.
