I managed to beat it. It was pretty frustrating, in a funny way

Played this game for a few hours before there was lava in the first level. I can now beat the game pretty quickly but I think  its a bit too hard. Especially if you dont know that you can crouch. Also sometimes you hit the edge of a platform and have to slowly watch as you slide down the side which is fun I guess.

nice game, a bit jank tho but thats part of the fun. would play again maybe.

Developer

If you look in the dialouge it litterally says press CTRL/STRG to crouch!

it also says Crouchjuming is important .

but eitherway thanks for your input!

Jumps are unnecessarily hard

I only managed to collect 5 password pieces, then alt+f4'd after falling on the same platform multiple times

Developer

crouchjumping

thats a thing you need to do

Developer

also skill issue

Unfortunately, I'm not on Windows, so only the WebGL is playable for me.
And gosh, this game makes me feel like a game journalist ;__;

Developer

There is also a Linux version! Also that gmae journalist comment may not only be you because WebGL i can definitvley say sucks!

Looks fun. but sadly i didn't beat your game, because I suffer from severe condition called skill issue.

Developer

no worries ;p

Fun and challenging 3D platforming. Ended up getting 5/10 password parts before succumbing to lava (just to test if it hurts). It's very rewarding when you succeed a jump but equally punishing when you fail :'< I suck at platformers but enjoyed it

I wanna go up close to the big tutel :neurocry:

3d anything in a jam game is really impressive, i enjoyed this one quite a bit as a bhopping and source enjoyer! unfortunately i couldn't get past the first level, kept falling in the lava and i couldnt get the feeling of the crouch jumps down just enough.. cool stuff though and thank you for the volume slider :)

I couldn't get past the tutelorial (haha extra point for the pun): the mouse moves the point of view way too slowly, and the collider gets stuck at walls and such, which causes me to slide off the platforms very slowly and awkwardly. By the time I got used to crouch jumping to get on higher platforms, I really couldn't bare the junkiness anymore.

I hope it's just the problem with my device or my platformer-playing-skills, and others will be able to play just fine :D The description and the screenshots look awesome so congrats on the game!

Also thanks for including the settings tab, very rare to see this in short gamejam projects.

Update: the mouse moves way too slow for me on both of my devices, the laptop and the PC. Changing the resolution did not make it better. The mouse speed was only a tiny bit better on the WebGL version.

Developer

hmm i will add that to the list of :

if i update the game i will add
