Very entertaining concept! Excellent characterisation and effective, concise writing. Not to mention superb use of the theme! Unfortunately, my game crashed twice after the, uh, 'foreigner's' return, so I was unable to finish the game. Happy to return to it if there's a fix or workaround after the jam! In an extended version, I'd love to see visuals of the memories as well, if only just a still image. My one critique is that the music restarting or switching between cuts was somewhat jarring, but I don't think it's a major issue. Keep up the good work!
Excellent story, well-written with great characters. You also did a great job of pacing to introduce the player to the concept -- at first I worried I wouldn't have any meaningful choices but sneaky you actually hid a little tutorial in there, and that's brilliant. There is one point where it seems like I can give the Serious Woman's memory away twice, but that was the only real hiccup I encountered. Got a good ending the first time and played again just to see how badly I could screw things up, and it went even more poorly than I anticipated lol. I enjoyed the music a lot, too. Great work!

Overall: very unique and original experience with a brilliant concept and great storyline and characters! Amazing work!
The concept is great and the writing is captivating! My game crashed unfortunately on my first playthough, after you get back the memory of the handsome man from the business man. The theme is very well integrated into the game! Congratulations :)
I really enjoyed the concept of a memory shop and the character stories were engaging.
The concept of the memories shop is absolutely amazing. I really liked the music and the decisions are a good plus to the game. You did a great job!
Wow... this is so beautiful! The basic idea fits the main theme really well, and you managed to work all the optional themes nicely into the story.
The characters are very endearing. Well, I can't stand that one "gentleman", but I suppose that is intentional. I also like the perspective that the odd young lady brings to the mix. And when I got the choices right on my second attempt, I actually teared up - it's so heartwarming to see how the memory trading affects the characters.
The music is very fitting and pleasant to listen to. The environment looks nice and cozy, and I like how expressive the characters are. Great work overall!
This is a cozy game. I really love the concept. Though I was wondering, if the customers are giving memories away, wouldn't they forget they ever had them the second they did so? Anyway, I liked the story and its slice-of-life nature.
The game had me genuinely struggling with one of its choices, which says a lot about how much the game made me care about the story and characters. Though related to that is something that confused me. I chose to give the Serious Woman's memory to the Handsome Man, and that seemed to help him. But then later on Shopkeep tells the Rich Gentleman that she needs the Handsome Man's memory back. But even though that memory was precious to him, the other memory seemed to be what he needed, so why the determination to get his old memory again? Of course it turned out that you're supposed to give that memory to the Serious Woman later, but Shopkeep couldn't have known that. I certainly didn't.
Overall though, this works really well. I like the way the physical memories are presented and described, and the little hints that the game takes place in the past. And I genuinely did not see that twist coming.
A very down-to-earth tale with well-written, personable characters. Well done!
I'm so glad you liked it! And oh no, you found the plot hole! We had bigger plans for those two but unfortunately we ended cutting them down to fit the timescale we had, and there was no way to patch up the resulting plot hole before the deadline. Thank you though! I'm really happy to hear you were so invested in the characters. :D
