Lot of entries didn't used Gamepads at all, is there any reason?

Mostly time limitations and the fact that gamepad controls for a game like Machine at the Heart of the World tend to be confusing to average person and there was no time to make them easy to understand.

Time mostly - my game would've done well with a Gamepad implementation (twin stick shooter basically)

Mine used combined keyboard and mouse controls, which was difficult to port over to gamepad (I guess a moveable cursor to aim the laser would work, but I don't think it could work as well as the mouse)

Just asking, as my main control scheme is ALWAYS gamepad first, then i adapt to keyboard, i was just very surprised nobody else used it, as MonoGame make it so simple to, (pretty sure every game here could use a gamepad inputs scheme), plus you dodge the region keyboard issue .
