It’s a great platformer with a good concept of no-turning-back to impart a puzzle aspect to the game, making players re-think their approach to a problem. The controls feel solid, movement is very responsive and the physics is on point. The levels are short and sweet, with an instant respawn time - this is good game design. There are some parts of the level which require precision, so you need to implement coyote-time (a short timeframe for players to still be able to jump even after leaving a platform). There is a section where you have to dodge spikes while falling, and the player falls too fast, there is no way to see what’s coming, so there’s no skill involved there at all. A good way to keep that momentum is to simply make the spikes further apart, with more exclamation marks so the player can see what’s coming. The dash feels almost like a teleport, which I feel needs to be worked on a little bit to give the players more control or a better feel of an actual dash. Overall, I enjoyed playing this game!

Nice game! Feels reasonably polished, fast gameplay and occasionally you need to put a lot of thought into where you are going, which is good! I used the dash on the section where you should hit your head, which I don't think is intended but I managed to pull it off after a few tries. Some more use of the dash mechanic would be nice, and also (nitpicking) some nicer tiles for when you've walked over a block, but that's just polish.

Overall, good game! Well done :)

Beat it! Nice looking game and the burning ground mechanic was pretty cool. I liked the part where you jumped against a low ceiling then had to go over the same part. Parts of the game felt unfair and unreactable, for instance the two falling sections don't give you enough time to react since the character falls so fast, making those parts just trial and error. The physics felt good tho
