The art and sound is fantastic. If you could fix the sword control that would be perfect!

The artwork, sound effects, and mechanics are all spot on! This is how I imagined Beat Saber in 2D with mouse only. Keep up the good work!

This adaption felt pretty good, Although i'm not sure if the keys are randomized. Sometimes it would not see me doing the right move, and the counter didnt reset. Other than that I really liked playing this.

The 2nd adaptation of beat saber ive played this jam, and it also plays awesome. I do agree that following the mouse with no click would maybe make play a bit easier. The aesthetic is great and the game has that play for a couple minutes once in a while vibe.Overall great entry,  congrats!

Very nice! Would be nice if it didn't require holding the mouse button down though. Getting it to hit the side I wanted was a little tricky at first but I was able to get the hang of it on my second play.

The combo didn't break when a fish was missed, I don't know if this was intentional. It was enjoyable to play.

Developer

This was done intentional by me after 12 hours of work :D But now I understand that this may not be the best decision) Thank you for playing!

If that's the way it's supposed to be then there's nothing wrong with that. Just sometimes in jam games it's hard to tell if something is a bug or intentional.

Really well executed, I really like how you transformed beatsabre into 2D and it works better than expected :)

One remark might be sometimes it feels as if i swang right but i still miss the combo, maybe it is just me not doing it right? :D but besides that really great game and well done given the time constraints :)

Thanks for the feedback and for playing! Yeah, I found a small bug with a collision :)

Very cool idea :)

Cover art and the sword are dope!

I think that if the sword is not 'held' in place via mouse press, it should still move above the fish in the same manner it does when swinging it, or at least more reliably.

Also, the combo meter did not decrease when I made errors ;)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback and for playing! Yes, combo, this is my mistake) Game only resets the multiplier. You could say I made game more friendlier :D
