I like the idea of shooting and changing levels and I think it has room to make upon. Good job on your first game!

Developer

Thanks!

Short but interesting.
However, I'd say that platformer-shooter isn't really a mix of genre, and is a really well-known genre in itself...

Thanks for the comment! Platformer games are a very complex thing. You can find everything in them: racing, horror etc. So I just focused on the gameplay and cool things i can make out of this combination. Thanks for your feedback :)

Easily beat the whole game in 5 minutes! The gameplay is nice, the art is simple. My only critique would be the lack of sounds and music, adding them would’ve made the game more fun to play. Despite that, I think you did a good job with the game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the nice comment! I really wanted to add some music, but there was no time. Hopefully next time i will manage to do so.

The game is really fun! The art looks cute and the gameplay is simple but really creative and fun to play. I'm looking forward to more difficulties! Nice work! :D

Developer

Thanks!

The game was fun. It was hard at start because you need to shoot and jump at correct time. But as I retried again and again I was able to complete all the three levels. Good Job : )

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the nice comment! I will work on the difficulty level after the rating period is over.

This is a really cool game. I love the shooting mechanic setting up the path. I think this has loads of potential. I would love to see more from this. Great work!

Developer

Thanks a lot! I will update the game after the rating period.

Fun little game, though I felt under INTENSE pressure for such a cute artstyle! Kidding of course, but that wall really surprised me at first! Once i got the hang of it I really liked it though, would love to see it built upon once the jam is over. Great work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the nice comment! I will definitely update the game after the rating period.

That was really cool ! At first, I thought the fire wall was coming a bit too fast, but the problem was more about the target that makes the cube move so slowly that you just have to know the level by heart.

Despite that, the hitbox are really well done and the artstyle is quite beautiful for a bunch of geometrical shapes.

For a second game and a first game jam, this is really well done !

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot for your feedback. I would have never thought that the problem is not only the speed of the fire, but also the speed of the platforms. I will definitely fix it in the updated version. Thanks once again :)

Awesome submission, well done! Loved the art and the gameplay was smooth, and just difficulty enough to be enjoyable. Well done.

Amazing  game I can't believe that this was your first game, it's great, nice combination  between FPS and platformer , cool art, I think that the game needs some music and SFX but  without counting that , the game is well polished with a UI and  3 levels. Nice Job!

Developer

Thanks for the nice comment! Unfortunately I have no past experience with creating music or SFX so trying to create them would take me too long. But next time i will be better prepared ;)

2.5D game C O O L

Developer

Thanks!

Submitted(+1)

Very fun. I really like the gimmick, and it made for lots of exciting obstacle. I liked how towards the end, it started using the depth more, sort of like a 2.5D game. The graphics are simple but that doesn't take away from the game too much. However the skybox didn't really fit with the cartoon blocky style, and some sort of texture on the fire would've really gone along way. Sounds and music would have also been great - never neglect the audio in a game jam! Well done, and good job dude.

Developer

Thanks for the nice comment! Right now I'm learning Bosca Ceoil. Next time hopefully there will be music and sound effects :) Big thanks for your feedback.

Submitted(+1)

Bosca Ceoil is good - in fact it's what I used! (in the games I actually composed for). Good luck on the game!

This is great, congrats on your first game!

AWESOME, great animations and idea.

Developer

Thanks!

Pretty nice, i like the visuals and the smooth animation, maybe if the wall started moving when we started moving would be nice.

over all pretty cool.

Developer

Thanks for the nice comment! I am already thinking about ways to improve the game. Thanks for the feedback :)

the  visual style is great xD but from my side the control not is easy (im noob).

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Nice game! I sometimes got stuck in the corners of blocks as I jumped around, so I really needed to get a good timing down!

Developer

Thanks!

The art is reaaaaally great ! The game works well, maybe it's a little too hard, but that's ok. Really great job !

Developer

Thanks!

Awesome idea. I really like the art style as well. It's sad that the game doesn't have any sounds. I hope you add more levels in the future. Maybe you should reduce the speed of the wall to make it easier.

Developer

Thanks!
