The only thing I managed to do was to press E and die.
Am I not supposed to interact with the music box ?
You are! Once you interact with the music box, you should go past the door while going to the beat, as the guy in the radio says!
Sorry to hear that it was unclear :3
I tried but I keep getting this black screen which I assumed is a game over because I can't tell when is the beat of the music
You should snap when the flashlight turns off!
hey! was the mouse sensitivity supposed to be so high? it was really hard to control the camera
No it wasn't ahahahh
I don't know why the sensitivity is very high sometimes, and others is not >.<
ah, okay, got it, thanks! crap like that happens all the time! c:
anyway, good job on your game!
Thank youuu! :)
Game looks really good, and it has an amazing horror vibe. I had to go through the comments though, because I couldn't understand why every time I interacted my game crashed, but I realized that was part of the program and I was missing the beat. Great Job.
Sorry that the mechanics weren't clear! Hope you still enjoyed the game! :D
The art and the sound design is rally great! Good job! The idea is really clever. But being in the beat is reaaally hard. If it was more forgiving it would be awesome. But really good job! The horror experience was cool!
Yeah, I totally agree: I should have projected myself more into a "new player" perspective and add a way for the player to get the hang of the mechanics before throwing them into the game itself!
Appreciate your feedback! :D
Amazing background story! It feels like it can be developed into a big game.
Great 3d game
Thank you!!
I love to put little lore hints in my projects, it's nice to know that you liked that! :D
Good idea! But after I repeat the rhythm , the screen goes black and the game crashes
The ending sequence(screen goes dark, hear a bunch of creepy noises and crash) is initiated when the player misses the beat,
maybe you missed the beat? Try snapping the finger every time the flashlight goes out! ;)
wooooow this one is really awsome! ;D
really like the idea! ;D
and also really love the beginning with the radio! ;D
the only thing is that I really miss the connects between the music and finger snapping.
the snapping feels kind of random and would maybe work better with someting where the rythem is more clear.. (al though I understand the music choise from ambience perspective but gameplay wise it not ideal..)
Yeah you're right, I tried to switch up the rhythm so that the game wouldn't become stale or easy with a fixed bpm.
Thanks for the feedback! :D
Right, so...imma be honest. I messed up my rhythm, got spooky and instantly alt+f4 lmao. Definitely got the horror vibe down.
Glad to hear! XD
I was thrilled by the opening and the ambience.. sadly it crashed every time, not sure why.. I'll try again from another computer.
That's interesting (?)
Did the game crash instantly or not? Cause the game is programmed to initiate a sequence that then leads to closing the application if you lose (miss the beat)
Let me know :p
Gotta press LMB when the flashlight goes off, it's kinda unforgiving tho XD
Unfortunately, whenever i interacted with the musicbox the game just went black and crashed :(

I loved the concept, and you really got the horror aspect right. I also loved how the player had no head. :D
Snapping to the rhythm was a bit difficult for me, so it took a few tries, but overall it was an awesome game! Great Job!
Thank you a lot, I really appreciate it! :D
Wow! That was a really interesting ide, i really like the concept!
And yeah the head is funny ahahah
Interesting take on the theme. Horror games are not good for my hearth :o I was really scared when my game window suddenly closed. Good job with scaring me :D
Also the player has no head and is floating xD
Thank youuu! Love to know that it actually scared you! :D
btw what I did to the player model has a really interesting (not lore related) story, maybe it's a tale i'll tell on a yt video XD
Absolutely lovely! Idea is great, and the whole game is super cool. I also like the art style and your gameplay. The color scheme is also good.
Good job!
Please check my game as well ;)
Thanks, I sure will! :D
I saw the characters shadow on the wall but he had no heads. Good job : )
ihihi I love sneaky stuff! ;D
really cool concept! would like to see something bigger with this idea in the future, great job! :)
Thanks a lot ahah
May consider the idea!
To be honest I'm terrified of horror games, so I just walked around the first room a bit and then backed out lol. But your game seemed really smooth.
Thanks XD
Hm... the download doesnt seem to work for me, How do you download a rar file?
I left instruction for download and extraction of the RAR in the description.
Is it not letting you download the RAR file? weird
Ok, I managed to Download it, its super spooky! but its unforgiving, When you miss only by a bit it crashes your game and you have to reopen it again, maybe giving you some time at the start to get the rythym into your head, and making the openings for clicks bigger would help.
you totaly got me spooked! xD
XD wanted to add a non-invasive tutorial, but didn't have the time
uuuuuh creepy! Nicely done!
"Hey 8th... I'm sorry it's on you, but we had no choice.
Listen carefully: You have to rewind the music box, then, get out of there as fast as you can. Find an exit, and make sure to never come back again.
It'll desperately try to catch you, and... Murder you... but if you snap your fingers in time to the music box, it'll be all right. The flashlight may also react to the music box, so base your rhythm off that.
Please... Survive."

E to interact.
Left Click to snap your finger.
WASD to move.
----------------------------!PS!------------------------------
I had a lot of friends telling me:
"You made a mistake: you should snap the middle finger, not the ring finger!"
And apparently I'm the only guy that snaps his ring finger instead of his middle one.
But now my character does too :D!
