Interesting idea and pretty cool graphics but a little awkward and confusing gameplay.

The game is a little confusing, and the text is obstructing the immersion of the game. The concept seems pretty interesting but I believe it can be better executed, especially with the instruction display. The art looks pretty good and it also sounds good. Overall, great job!

This was a fun take on the genre. I have been playing Slay the Spire recently so cards jumped out at me. lol Great work folks.

I've downloaded the windows version of it as suggested. The idea is really great. Art is really good for such a short time. And the gameplay feels changeling. The only problem is the UI. But It's not really a big problem for the game that is made in 48 hours.

Hey mate! Just finished you game. Tbh I wanted more levels but i understand the time limit is a bitch ahahah

Anyway that's some good ass game! Mixing card game and board game has so much potential! I was surprised that you put other cards like knock out and double move. I can feel like there is a lot of room to play around with new cards, collecting them and such. Really good idea!

And I liked the art, it was super cute! And im down for the card sound, sounds good

At level two I got to the cookies pretty fast but couldn't get them cuz I needed a move down card and couldn't get it for like 10 turns hahah

Anyway really interesting, cool game mate, i think you should carry on with it!

Hi !

Thank you for your feedback ! Glad to see that you enjoyed the game !

There were some more cards planned but we didn't manage to add them in time. Also, the gameplay is a bit too rng based but we had not the time to include deck building. And we also had ideas for other types of ennemies but again, not enough time to include them.

If everyone in the team is motivated, we might make an update to add the things that were planned at first :)

This game is funny. I like it. This low poly models are really nice. Good lighting and fairly solid colors. Good camera smoothness. In general, the concept is super. Awesome!

Good job!

Please check my game as well ;)

The game is pretty fun and sometimes really frustrating. The idea is good, but sometimes the randomness makes it awful as you'll get stuck to situation where you're pretty much doomed.

The levels are pretty good designed, simple but not linear, you can overcome situation if you have the right cards.

The music and art are really nice, I love that low poly style.

Nice work there guys :D

Thank you for the feedback !

To fix the frustration of the randomness we had to play a lot and that was not easy as it is our first game jam for the majority of the team ^^. But thank you for the comment, it really helps us to see what we can improve ! :D

Love the idea! The style is really cute as well!

With a little more interface design it would be a quite polished game already! 👀

Love the style and music!

Controls and overall gameplay are a bit confusing, I didn't find my player and couldn't figure out how to move at first. Still, great job participating and well done!

Nice idea and cool game overall. Art and music are great.

Apart from the UI issues mentioned in other comments, I found it weird that when using a card to move in every direction, you can input a direction with the same key as moving the camera. Sometimes I didn't know where was my character because of that. The other issue was the randomness of the cards, if you don't have luck you can be forced to hit a wall multiple times before getting cards to progress.

Good job to all the team !

First of all, the game looks lovely. The art style and colors are very fitting and coherent, just like the music.

The UI is a bit glitchy while moving the camera around, and the irregular font size (sometimes too large) in the tutorial made the starting experience a bit jarring and hard to get into. The stealth x cards game gameplay is interesting but right now feels too RNG? Maybe adding cards to move enemies as well, or a way to preview the cards you pick, even cards that increase the chances of a particular direction spawning in your deck for x turns. Or even pickups scattered inside the level that increase your deck capacity / give you an extra life as a compensation if you end up in the opposite direction of the cookies? Sorry, getting ahead of myself here :p

Overall a very cute game, enjoyed playing it, some improvement to the UI and mechanics could go a long way. Nice job!

Thank you for your feedback ! It really helps !

We didn't had time to fix the UI unfortunately but we're aware of that ^^. We had a hard time to choose the right cards for each level, it's indeed very RNG and could be improve in a lot of ways. Some of your ideas can work great ^^

That was very fun to make and it's nice to see people enjoying it too :D

Sweet sounds and great art. The UI lags behind when I move the camera on the WebGL version.

Awsome Game

Awesome submission! The art is great, the music is really nice, and the concept is very creative. A tutorial of some sort would've been helpful, but other than that, I really enjoyed it :)

It really itches my Slay the Spire passion (600+ hours plus a mod in progress). The assets are really beautiful and cute but I have to say the trumpets really contrasts with the rest of the music. The other thing that bothered me during my session was the cards/deck/discard layer moving along with the camera. It made it difficult to read the entire level in one full movement.

I'm pretty sure you could do an entire game out of this, congrats on this game !

EDIT : Maybe adding a way to see your deck and the discard pile would be an amazing addition

Thank you for playing and your review !

Slay the Spire was obviously one of our inspiration for the game ^^

The card movement is a little weird but we didn't have enough time to fix it, it could be improved like a lot of things. We almost manage to add an other enemy type but we couldn't animate it in time :p

Nice to see that some people enjoy our game, it was also really fun to make for us !
