That was a blast! ’Chicken Kid!” was one of my favorites. hahaha The game was quite simple to pick up, and the keyboard input being set apart was thoughtful so that I could concentrate on the action. The instruction was an excellent start, and the artwork was appropriate for the topic. The music - epic, if I must say.

As I progressed through the stages, my concentration shifted from reading the text and looking at the two images to merely reading the text and pressing the proper key. The Jedi force kicked in to 100%.

I do have two suggestions, but only if you have more time because this game was completed and published in such a short amount of time - Kudos!

The animated GIF is used as a background image on the Game Page on either side of the game. That was a bit distracracting. The same applies to the color of the game page. Choose a darker background color for your page so that the game stands out. When I select D or K in-game, highlight what I’ve chosen as a visual confirmation. Looking forward to more mini game jams from you @sapfuji! cheers

The idea that you choose ingredient from a text absolutely genius.

One thing I found out about while playing this game is that I suck at reading English fast while having no sleep the night prior. A really good idea for this jam!

Good use of limitation, it worked very well with this game!

Really great usage of the limitation. I feel like a speedrun of this game would be super cool to watch. I love it! Great job!

Interesting game, more stressing that any other action game actually! Well presented and good sound/music feedback.

I gotta say some of the names used for the ingredients I enjoyed immensely, like chicken kid. I thought the difficulty could've been dialed back for the easy mode - I found myself having to pick up the pace towards the end, even though I was going through them at what I thought was a reasonable speed. The artwork, music and sounds seemed to work very well together. Nice work!
