WOW! That was REALLY cool! Very, very nice game! Congratulations!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for playing!
Sure, no problem!
I like the game but it was a little hard to see some of the items.
Thanks for playing and the feedback!
Cool game, funny animations but the camera is too far, I barely can figure it out which one is apple and which egg on 24"
I'll be working on that once the jam is over, I can definitely see that problem. Thanks for the feedback and for playing!
Great game! although there isn't much of a difficulty curve or more boosts, even so, I really enjoy the gameplay that there was; especially in such a short time!
I've given thought to how to increase the difficulty in a game like this, and some options I've considered are making certain ingredients rarer than others, forcing the player to use boosts to get what they need. I'm glad you enjoyed it though. Thanks for playing and the feedback!
I like the idea of squashing ingredients you don't need and that giving you boosts. I think it would be a good idea to add icons to the list of ingredients you still need to make it easier to see and understand at a glace. Maybe squashing a good ingredient you already have enough of should also give a boost?
I also love the low poly art style, but feel like the marble texture doesn't work very well with it and the zoomed out perspective doesn't really show off your great models.
I actually like your idea of putting an icons instead of text for the recipe! I hadn't even thought of that. I've also considered giving boosts for squashing ingredients you have enough of, but I feel like it would make levels go by too fast. I'll have to test and play around with it!
I agree, the marble texture wasn't such a great choice. I tried out a few wood textures first, but they ended up looking worse. I used assets from the Kenney 3D Food Pack, which worked well on their own, so I definitely need to rework the environment!
Thanks for playing and the feedback!
Really cool game, good physics and i like this concept
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it!
awsome game! very creative concept, mix of puzzle and action game, cool graphics and sound with good replay value . I enjoyed playing it ! congratulations ! keep it up!
Thank you very much for playing and the feedback! Glad you enjoyed it!
Pretty fun game! The gameplay is nice and the music compliments it well. The sound effects are a bit too loud though, especially the one for flour.
Sorry about that! I'll have to try and edit it. I noticed it was louder than the rest but didn't seem too bad on my end. I also plan to put in a volume slider for options. Thanks for playing and the feedback!
This was really fun. The mechanic is cool and well done. Has replayability, and the music is also nice. Good job!
I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for playing and the feedback!
I thought this game was pretty hilarious and fun. By dragging the mouse around aggressively I was able to defy gravity which made it even funnier, but then I got stuck under the main platform lmao. It kinda reminded me of goat simulator but with a rolling pin. If you are using unities rigidbody physics you should be able to constrain it on the Y-axis in the inspector, but depending on how the movement was scripted that might not work. Or you could make #RollingPinSimulator
I originally had it setup to stop movement if you left the counter, which would cause the pin to fall on the floor and then respawn above the counter. While this generally worked, every now and then it would get caught in some sort of loop where it would endlessly spawn, so to fix it I made it only stop moving when you hit the floor...which it won't do if you hold down the mouse button!
Another problem I mentioned to someone else is that I couldn't find my own solution to moving the pin, keeping it on the counter, making it rotate around AND allow it to spin on the X- and Z- axis. For some reason freezing the Y-axis made my problems worse, so for the sake of focusing on finishing the game I left it as is.
I'll have to figure out these eventually if I want to make other 3D games!
Thanks for the feedback, and for playing my silly game!
Very good idea and great realization! Good job!
Thank you for playing!
This was a very fun experience. Dragging the rolling pin around and destroying undesirables is very fun. Great game good luck.
I was hoping that was the gimmick people would latch onto! Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for playing, and for the feedback!
I was stuck with the rolling pin, however I loved the game!!! great job!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing! Do you remember how you got the pin stuck?
yes I slipped on the side lmao !!!
Great concept ! Tho the perspective is a lil bit confusing
Definitely something I'll have to adjust. Sorry about that. Thanks for playing!
Game definetly have alot of pros but optimization is big con (maybe that fault of my pc :| ). Anything else I enjoyed a lot, anyway - cool!
I did some playtesting on older laptops, as I had worried it wouldn't perform very well compared to the computer I made it on. That was one of my biggest fears of making it in 3D. Sorry about that! Glad you were able to enjoy it though, and thanks for the feedback!
Really fun, the physics of the pin where a little bit janky at times, but I think that actually added to the fun XD.
I almost ruined a few pies, but who doesn’t enjoy a good old stake in his pumpkin pie?
Great Game and keep up the good work!
When I began prototyping the pin movement I really struggled to make it stay on the table AND roll on all axis. It's honestly my first time dealing with 3D objects, so I'll have to keep at it. The end result felt a little comedic to me though!
Thank you for the feedback, and for playing! Glad you enjoyed it!
Do not worry, I think you did a superb job, especially if it was a first for you.
Thanks! That's what these jams are for me anyways, to learn!
Really fun, but if you move the pin too close to the edge it some times shoots to space.
After some playtesting with others, I realized they could simply hold down the left mouse button and the pin would float around off the counter. I'll have to fix that, and come up with a fix for what you experienced. Thanks for playing and the feedback!
Obviously the best name of the jam so far, haha! Interesting idea! It could be like a tetris for right ingredients. Sometimes the ingredients are look little otherwise is well presented!
I had difficulty deciding how to display each level to give the sense of being in a kitchen, while also giving plenty of space to move around, and yet not make the objects so big that they fall into the bowl quickly. Very tough when you can't have more than two buttons...I could've given the player the option to adjust their view. Thanks for playing and the feedback!
My favorite game so far! You should be very proud.
Thank you, I'm glad you like it!
