This game is awesome!!! I love the name too… punny xD
The boost feels just right and i love the whole bullet-hell experience. Haven't ever played Luftrausers but so glad i played this first :D
I especially love the attention to detail. Noticed the sound gets muffled inside water :0
The font could use an upgrade but other than that, this game is AMAZING!
Definitely check out Luftrausers its an incredible game! I appreciate the feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
This game was fantastic! Very unique take on the theme and limitation. I loved the Luftrausers-style gameplay and the fact that there was a solid variety of ships and upgrades for a 72 hour jam was impressive.
The graphics are a little rough around the edges - the in-game timer and score is in what feels like a default font - but the rest of the game is so polished I have to let it slide.
If any game in this jam were to be developed into a full game, I'd really hope it was this one!
I appreciate the kind feedback! I was definitely focusing on feel more than graphics, then once I was happy with that I switched my focus to features. So graphics took a backseat and could use some polish.
Thanks for playing and I don’t have any plans to continue this project but… I was planning an upgrade where you can then break the sky ceiling and take the fight to space 😂
Very fun! I love the talking fish in the ship select menu!
Thank you! There were a bunch of extra funny lines we wanted the fish to say but the time crunch was real 😭 Glad you enjoyed it!
This game looks so inspired on luftrausers. Which is nice! Ingame graphics could be improved having in count those military fish sprites but there is a lot of attention to the detail on every corner
Yes! Luftrausers was definite inspiration with my own twists! I appreciate the feedback and if I had more time I could have spent a lot more of it on the art :)
Very good ideas, well presented, a story, this one was everything!
Amazing game. Feels very polished and responsive. Fish is actually used as a limitation - how the ship has to recharge in water. Controls feel fluid. Had lots of fun xD 5/5
Really cool bullet-hellish game. I loved the details like the water splashes, and flying around rambo-style with a sardine powered machinegun is very fun. Solid art and gameplay, funny wordplay on the limitation/title, easy to grasp mechanics and nice controls. I liked it a lot :)
Had really enjoyed the game, felt like Iron Man at some moments. Great job !
Lovely art, animations and sound design! Really enjoyed playing through this one! Though I think it would handle better if the shooting could be aimed with the cursor maybe, I think it would be more fluid! Or maybe I suck at the controls haha. Well done for a 72hour jam !
The art in this is unique yet executed nicely, the pun in the title was also appreciated, The game feels pretty finished especially considering the the 72h time limit. I enjoyed this one
Thank you! I worked on this for an unhealthy amount of time over the weekend lol! Glad you enjoyed it!
Very addictive! The controls take some getting used to, but you end up having to make cool movements to kill the ufos. One thing i'd note is that maybe the enemies are a bit hard to hit, maybe they should be a bit bigger
Thank you! I definitely realized after the fact its probably a little hard to just pick up and play so I appreciate the recommendation! I'm glad you liked it!
This game is perfect! It has everything, a cool tutorial, a shop, an upgrade system, very fluid controls, fun gameplay, fun music and nice art! How did you do this in such a short time? Great job, thank you.
Wow thank you! I'm glad you like it! I had Fri-Sun off of work and probably spent 12+ hours each day to make it what it is. I'm realizing that I probably should scale down the work scope if I wanna do another Game Jam AND have any free time left over!
