I only wish I could keep playing with it after I ran out of moves sandbox style
This is wonderful. There is so much depth of gameplay! I can't wait to improve my score.
first off incredible job!! cant believe you accomplished all this in just 72 hours that is a very impressive feat. the music, SFX/VFX, art, core gameplay, etc etc are all very polished and i could see this being a popular mobile/browser game with a few minor tweaks. Its very fun to experiment with the different tiles and the mechanic of tiles influencing your future cards is an excellent unique twist on the genre.
Some minor improvements I would suggest, without the time constraints of the jam, would be to have every tile interaction do something, as its really cool to discover all the interactions and a bit disappointing to see "no effect". One that comes to mind is I wish rain on a mountain created a waterfall tile, and maybe a flood on a mountain would cause a Niagara falls super waterfall. I really liked your evolution line from grass to swamp to morass. An achievement system would be cool too like in those combine element games for the sense of accomplishment of discovering all the world has to offer.
This was an inspiring entry to see what is possible in just 72 hours (with the requisite skill and hard work of course haha) and I think you have a great foundation for a commercial project if you wish to pursue it.
Thanks for taking time to write this feedback . I agree with your suggestions and there are definitely lot of things that could be added in.
very cool i like the strategy of the game and the variety
Great game, very polished. One of the most favourite game in this jam! Loved it so much! <3
Cool game - I like discovering the interactions between events. I also like the "Into The Breach"-style grid and point of view.
Really fun to play, nice sounds, art, good use of limitation, overall the best I played so far
Okay, I give up. You won. This is the best entry of the Jam.
The only improvement I could have thought is you could make the timer of an event application shorter, or remove it completely.
Thanks for the constructive feedback! :)
Did the you find the timers to slow the gameplay too much or were they in your way in some other way?
Yep, the timer just slowed cognitive processes in my head and added a bit of frustration at the begining. I believe your alcheny mechanic is good and complecated enough without the need for slowing it down. Different players have different pace of their playstyle.
Moreover, I guess that cooldowns have sence when those arer combined with other time-based mechanics.
Very fun game with immersive visuals sfx and vfx
Nice
Hello! I enjoyed your game a lot. I love the pixel tiles and the concept of affecting them. It definitely feels like something I'd just go back to just to relax with. And it also feels quite polished. Overall, amazing job! Thank you for the hard work and I hope you had loads of fun making it!
Nice to hear that. I haven't jammed for a while so had a lot of fun getting back to the scene again. I hope you had fun too. :)
Lovely game I can't believe you ate a whopping 0 cookies... Jokes aside it was very well put together and feels like something I'd play on my phone (in a good way)! Great job on the concept as well really creative!
Mobile port when?1!?!?! ahahs
Yeah, you're right. This would fit mobile quite nicely with the simple mechanics it has. :)
It was very hard at first, then I tihnk I get it. A lot of event are destructive, I would love to see more green early in the game!
Great idea btw :)
If you could try and rate my game, I'd be grateful!
Thanks for the constructive feedback! :)
This is a beautiful, polished little game and I had a very relaxing time playing it. I don't think I'm very good at it, I wasn't able to find many combos or make much progress before my turns ran out, but I really enjoyed my time with it. You did a great job with this!
This was a pleasure to play. Felt very polished and everything fit very nicely within its little world. I was truly interested in the development of the game, and played to the end. Fantastic job!
This game is very well polished! Looks very professional. Well done!
Great game!
proof the earth is a rhombus
