Looks incredible and very fun to play. Reminds me a little of Mega Man Battle Network which I'm very nostalgic about :)

The polish on this insane! Such a lovely style and game feel :)

Very cool visuals! I had fun

From the cover art to the game is so good. Feels so well polished and had such a good time with it.

I cant think of anything for feedback other then to make more of it. Music, Gameplay, Art was all so good 🪄

Your game looks great visually! The sprites and effects are well done - nice music too. I'm reminded of One Step From Eden. How did you implement the AI? Are they specifically trying to target you?

Developer(+2)

thanks for playing ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

common enemies have specific movement patterns depending on their type, gofers target you while others generally are random with their movement and attacks, and robots try to avoid you. only the boss is intentionally targeting the player.

Nice •ᴗ•  'One Step from Eden'' seems to be inspired by 'Megaman Battle Network', which is where our gameplay was based on

Hello. First off, blown away by the art. Lovely sprites and funny designs. Personal favorite are the mushrooms. Also really liked the intro cutscene. I also love the music and sound effects used in your game. The concept, I can most liken it to is Megaman Battle Network, which I was never really good at, but still had loads of fun just beating up all the critters. I never really got to the boss myself after multiple tries but regardless I think the balance is good! I was wondering about the shop because I don't seem to get anything when I try Buy, so it felt like I just Buyn't. Overall, this game is really well made and polished! It's really amazing and sort of unbelievable for me that this was made within 3 days. Really, kudos! Thank you for the hardwork you put into this game and I hope you all had fun making it!

Developer(+1)

thanks for playing, sadly shop items alongside spell deckbuilding was not implemented due to lack of time
( ˶°ㅁ°) !!

Dang, the presentation for this game from the art down to the music is really impressive. Very professional. I think I'm bad at this game but I dig it. Kudos to your team!

Dude the art and music are peak, and the battling is a little confusing and claustrophobic but I loved it nonetheless

Submitted(+2)

Art and music was awesome but the combat system felt a little to fast (skill issue probably) maybe having a difficulty selector could help and felt like the combat was just spamming for the sake of spamming since it was hard to grasp where my next spell would be trying to doge enemies at the same time

Developer(+1)

thanks for playing... and yeh game is harder than we wanted it to be, ran out of time sadly. definitely needs alot of polish and balancing

Amazing art and characters. Gameplay is hard, but fun. I will get better.

I think I was really bad at this lol but it was a ton of fun with the catchy soundtrack and beautiful art! Great job on this guys.

The designs are suuuuper cool as are the few dialogues :)

The concept is nice, I think I've already seen a game like this on steam that I liked!

Small modification idea: the fact that my character has a bit of latency when I move at the same time as casting a spell is pretty restrictive :/

Otherwise, nothing to say, gg!

If you could try and rate my game, I'd be grateful!

Edit: Also congrats for the music, it's very pleasant :)

The car is sooooo cuteeee. Love the game

Excellent work on the original combat system, the magnificent graphics and a lively/lovely OST ! Even more impressive for a 72-hour jam, well done !

Submitted(+2)

That's some of the best art I've ever seen. I don't understand how they did it in 3 days. Congrats to the team.

Developer(+1)

Artist here. I'm really grateful and surprised to hear all these kind words. Thank you!

I understand the concept but I did not feel that this quite hit the mark, very great pixel art for the time. With a team of four I think some tutorial explaining how all the UI was to be interpreted would have been great.

Developer(+1)

I'll pass it by to the team and see if anything can be added. Thank ya!

To make this in 3 days is astonishing. The art style is awesome and the game is super fun to play. The game in itself offers some real challenge and combined with the music it makes it a true masterpiece. GG !

Developer

Thank you!

The art in this game is out of this world (you only had 3 days, how is that even possible xD). The only criticism I have is that I'm using a different keyboard layout (German), so the x and z keys are pretty far away. But that's criticism at the highest level. The music and the game concept convey a real arcade game feeling, which I really like ^^

Developer

Thank you for the kind words! I'm the artist, and even I don't know how I did it.

We all worked real hard on this.

There may be a future update, so I'll ask if we could maybe add key binding settings.

Awesome entry. Everything fit really nicely together, and it felt like an authentic Mega Man-style arcade game. Great work!

Neat game, although it would have been nice to have a bit more feedback for hitting enemies
